10 Things To Do to Survive 2012

truther January 2, 2012 4

No one is predicting 2012 to be an uplifting year, economically. All major financial analysts predict stagnation at best, while others warn of likely doom and gloom as the dollar continues to become less desirable around the world.

In 2010, China and Russia agreed to stop trading together in dollars and Japan agreed to do the same with China just last week. Moves like that coming from these major economic players only can spell doom for those who rely on the strength of the dollar.

With commodities like food and oil still trading in weakening dollars, it puts further pressure on the soaring prices of these essentials. All signs seem to indicate that the cost of living in dollar-based economies will likely rise dramatically in 2012 as well.

Additionally, just as Western populations find themselves broke and without jobs, their governments are also on the brink of bankruptcy and are reducing domestic spending, while continuing to print endless gobs of money for fraudulent banks and endless wars. The notion of reversing this trend is not promising.

Since 2012 will likely be another tumultuous year for at least over half the American population who are already sliding on the razor’s edge of poverty, it’s important to prepare accordingly.

Here are 10 things to do in 2012 that will help you survive economic fluctuations and even full-blown collapse:

1. Learn New Skills: The best insurance you can take out for an economic downturn is learning new skills. Skills to produce something beautiful or beneficial to humans is the only true form of wealth that no one can take from you. Examples of skills to survive economic collapse can be organic gardening, food storage, food preparation, animal husbandry, construction, sewing, candle and soap making, first aid and natural medicine, hunting and fishing, alternative energy, mechanics, and anything else that fills basic human necessity.  Many other skills are viable as well should society not deteriorate completely such as writing, communicating, organizing, software coding, etc. Note: These skills are beneficial to have regardless of economic conditions.

2. Improve Your Health: Yes, this is everyone’s cliche New Year’s resolution.  But in times of great uncertainty, especially economically, taking care of your health is ultra important.  When each week may be make-or-break financially, very few can afford to lose a week or more of productivity because of illness.  Additionally, great stress is likely facing everyone in 2012.  Thus, full spectrum health of body, mind and spirit will be vital to survive and thrive in tumultuous times.

3. Store Backup Food: The overall global food price index increased by 33% from January 2010 to January 2011. Did your income rise by that much in 2011?  Did the value of your investments increase by that much in 2011? If not, storing extra food is far more practical than maintaining a savings or investment account.  And in terms of withstanding a possible collapse of the dollar or economy in general, you’ll be in much better shape than if your resources are in a banking institution.

4. Create a How-To Library:  There is no way to learn all of the things that may be useful in times of severe economic distress.  Many of us rely on the Internet as an immediately accessible library of how-to information. However, if something were to happen to Internet access in 2012, which is clearly under threat of censorship and control, it’s important to build your own personal library of useful how-to knowledge; books, ebooks, videos etc.  Get an external hard drive and start downloading books and videos that may prove priceless in times of need.

5. Start a Side Business: Waiting for the government or anyone to “create” jobs is futile and foolish.  The West has clearly entered an age of prolonged economic downturn where manufacturing jobs are unlikely to return with any significance.  It’s time to focus on creating something for yourself, whether you’re currently employed or not.  Learn to forage for deals and small earnings. Learn to create. Start a small side business and build the foundation for an additional stream of income with something you’re passionate about. Start a blog, write a book, teach or take a class — anything that you can sink your teeth into.

6. Gather Trade-able Goods:  If things go from bad to worse, besides food, there are many things that will be valuable to have stored up.  First consider your personal needs and overbuy those items. Things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, wet wipes, baking soda (countless uses), Q-tips, first aid products, alcohol, and medicine. There are also several survival goods that you should backstock like; water filters, fuel, lighters, lighter fluid, seeds, weapons, common ammunition, batteries, and hand tools. These are regularly used in daily life and won’t ever go to waste, but they also have great trade value should times get tough.  All of these items can be picked up very inexpensively if you keep your eye on deals and buy in bulk.

7. Build Community Alliances:  Everyone needs a supporting tribe when times get tough. Inform your family and friends of your plans to prep for the worst and the new business ventures you’re engaged in. Encourage them to get involved with you in any capacity that makes sense. Seek others in your community already doing these things and collaborate with them. Support local businesses and local food cooperatives. Go to your town hall or city council meetings and suggest community activities that increase self-sufficiency of the area to cushion any disruption.

8. Alternative Energy: Having any source of alternative energy is just plain smart for any circumstance. A backup generator, whether solar-powered or gas, is imperative for those who live in cold climates (along with a wood stove or fireplace) prone to electric outages in the winter.  But imagine if the lights go out for an extended period of time. Solar hot water, a solar-powered chest freezer, a solar oven and a small generator will provide a high level of self-reliance for energy with minimal investment.

9. Water Purification: Clean water is so vital to your health and survival that you should acquire several ways to purify water. First, before disaster strikes, test your water now. You may be surprised to discover that disaster or not, your water may already be contaminated with countless toxins including sanctioned additives like fluoride.  There are several affordable options for turning unhealthy water into crisp fresh water from portable hand-pumped units, table-top setups, faucet attachments, to pills and bleach drops.  It’s recommended to have more than one option, so research and find the best that you can afford that suits your needs.

10. Love & Appreciate: One of the most important intangible things you can do to survive 2012 is to love and appreciate more.  Make it a daily action item: express love to your friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers.  What you put out into the world is what you’ll get in return. Appreciate what you do have every day.  Don’t be disappointed because others may have more, because there are always others with far less.  Your genuine appreciation for the little things will attract the bigger things you need and desire.

    “>>> P R E P A R E Y O U R S E L V E S N O W ! ! ! <<<

I pray I'm not fear mongering because that is NOT my intention. I only want people to wake up and prepare, just in case the stuff hits the fan.

They will most likely start rounding people up very very soon, but personally, I think they will cause people to demand to get to go before real physical force is used.

Any new false flag attack(s) or "natural" disaster(s) may/will cause:

    a) power outages and fuel shortages (Freeze you to death.)

    b) severe food and water shortages (Starve you to death.)

    c) severe confusion and much anger (Cause you to go insane and do crimes, including murder.)

I think they see an advantage to this winter really just beginning and will use it!

Cold and hungry people will be rounded up due to their own ignorance, greed, etc. They will think they are being rescued. There has been too many bus purchases etc. for the last ten years by cities, schools, and more. All without a real need for them. I have seen this over and over.

There will be so much confusion as they gather people up that people won't even think or even have time to seek information as to how many people have already gone before them. And if some do seek info. then they will be lied to about everything.

They WILL have to kill people as they bring more and more in. There is NOT enough of anything to keep and treat the huge number of people that will go voluntarily.

During this they will also forcefully collect those they deem a threat to their power, regardless of anything.

Nothing will be held back by them. They already know they must go forward FULL THROTTLES!

I pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ that we would truly repent and seek Him and His will in and for our lives now and eternally.

God bless you all, and good day."

I live on long island Ny. I just don’t have a boat.with the population here and the big apple just half hour west by rail. Well I guess we are all just pretty well screwed here. So I guess there is no way out . Going down with the ship. I stopped trying to convince my family and friends awhile ago. They thought I was going nuts. Not afraid at all . Chicken little accepts what ever is in store for us here on this rock.

I would replace #10 with exercise your 2nd Amendment right and arm yourself. Buy plenty of Ammunition. Even if you are not willing to defend what you have stored, you still have an economic advantage in the form of trade goods and most importantly, the means at which to protect ALL of your rights, freedoms and property. Turn your soon to be worthless American Paper Monopoly Funny Money into real commodities you can trade. China is doing that right now. they are dumping their inflated American dollars and buying Commodities while they still can. I realize this article is geared more towards Economics, but #10 sound like a horoscope. The means to secure your life, the ones you love and your property is way more valuable to me than loving strangers who will be happy to slit my throat for a case of MRE’s.

The one thing that i remember the most clearly over the past 39-40 years of my school days at Brandeis University in1970’s are my student adviser’s words that when he was growing up that his grand parents and parents used the term “‘goyishe kup,’” meaning that the “Non-Jews are Stupid”

Later in life I learned that the exact translation of “GOYISHE KUP” means that the “Cattle are STUPID”..

I remember him recalling whatt his father told him when he was growing up in Eastern Europe. One of them being that when his father was in high school he and a group of friends would skip school early on Fridays and go over to his friend’s father’s butcher shop. That they would buy at cost any cows , that had not been butchered by the end of the day on Friday before the begining of shabat . They would take the cow home and wash it and then the boys would procede to “beat the udders of the cows so that they would swell up and turn pink” so as to sell them to the “GOYISHE KUP” as milk producing cows.

The part that I remember him asking me if the East Europeans are so naive, so gullible and so stupid to buy old “non milk producing cows” from a bunch of young Jewish Boys.

So thinking of it now I agree with the Jewish saying that the “GOYISHE KUP” are indeed” Stupid” as they believe that a Bunch of Arab Muslim Kids who were not able to Fly a Cessna Airplane took it upon themselves to FLY a Boing Jumbo Jet outwitting the US Military and Civilian authorities. The “Jewish Lightning Insurance Scam” of the 1960’s is still alive and well has been put to good use by Larry Silverstein with the help of his sayanim jews made a financial killing in imploding wtc by putting 15 million down and comming out with 7 billion dollars for buidings that no one wanted to buy because it would have cost a billion dollars to remove the asbestos from. Then on top of that the people in America actually believe that they actually decide who is elected President or for that that actual VOTE is really counted and makes a difference in deciding who represents them in the White House and congress. http://www.bollyn.com/index.php

Yeh I agree that the AmericanNon-Jews are indeed American “GOYISHE KUP” or “STUPID CATTLE”!

The Israeli Defense Firm That Tallies The Iowa Caucus
    By Christopher Bollyn

The Iowa caucus is only a few days away and the nation’s attention will be directed to the results, which signify the beginning of the U.S. presidential race. But does anyone watch who tallies the results of the Iowa caucus?

The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the same this year. Don’t expect to see any grassroots political activists doing the tally in Iowa. The Israeli defense establishment takes care of that part of the American “democratic” election process.

In the summer of 2004, I first learned that a foreign and out-of-state company using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology tallied the Iowa caucus results.

The system used to tally the 2004 Iowa caucus results was provided by a company called Voxeo, which was apparently based in Orlando, Florida. (Yellow flag goes up in the mind of those familiar with Orlando and electronic vote fraud history
