The week leading up to Avalon’s International Airshow are filled with lots of interesting military arrivals in preparation for the show. This year, visitors are extremely lucky with not only the ever building collection of military aircraft around the airport, but also the terrific static display of the Antonov AN-124!
The 3 F-22 raptors were an incredible sight, landing only 30 seconds apart from each other. Followed close behind by the elusive KC-135 on a very windy Saturday afternoon! Having the Raptors down here is an absolute pleasure, with only 12 based out of Tyndall, it’s fantastic to see a quarter of the fleet!
I was fortunate enough to catch these arrivals with Aeroplaneman747 and would highly recommend keeping an eye out for his take on the action!
