Graphic Video: Trans-Humanist Becomes First DIY Human-Cyborg

This is one that you may want to file under your bizarre news tab. Tim Cannon, a self-proclaimed trans-humanist, has implanted a large computer chip into his body. The chip, that has bluetooth capability, can store months of personal health data at a time for uploading to your doctor. Who wants to deal with those pesky doctor visits when you can go visit your local body modification expert and have him perform a quick slice and dice without any anesthesia? Can you say FAIL? The device, that is powered by placing a charger against Cannon’s skin, is expected to help Cannon resolve issues with limited life-span, and he hopes that it reveals secrets of a longer life to him.

Bottom line, this guy just had a person who is not a licensed physician (because no doctor would touch this project) cut him open without pain meds and stitch him back up in a manner that is closely related to Leatherface. I hope he doesn’t need Obamacare when that gets infected.
