Hillary Clinton Tells New York Times That The Holy Bible Her ‘Biggest Influence’

“A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,” Proverbs 6:17

The New York Times had a wonderfully insightful chat with erstwhile Woman-For-President 2016 candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton over the weekend. As it turns out, Hillary Clinton is a bible-thumping, sin-hating, street preaching, wildly on fire for the Lord Jesus Christ born again Christian.

Or not.

NYT: If you had to name one book that made you who you are today, what would it be?

Hillary Clinton: At the risk of appearing predictable, the Bible was and remains the biggest influence on my thinking. I was raised reading it, memorizing passages from it and being guided by it. I still find it a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement. (full interview here)

Now, if Hillary had said that the Bible had been “an influence” in her life, this wouldn’t even be a story. The Bible ‘influences’ a lot of people who don’t allow It to change them. But she said that it was the “biggest influence” in her life, and that’s extremely transformative language. So as such, we can only come to the logical conclusion that she credits the bible with formulating her Pro-LGBT marriage stance, her Pro-Abortion stance, as well as the decision to leave 4 Americans without military support in the Benghazi massacre.
