Video: Girl Knows Her Rights’ Video Goes Viral

When stopped by the ICE checkpoint to acquire her citizenship, the young lady named as “Hot Girl” on Youtube , Jill as she tells the officer, knows her rights.

Despite the fall out last month when ICE admitted that they were told not to perform their duties, they were still setting up “checkpoints” miles from the border. Boarder patrol staff stop hundreds of vehicles daily miles from the border that they are supposed to protect. They pull individuals over to ascertain their citizenship is why this is supposed to be happening.  This is becoming more and more prominent in the Southern half of the United States. It has become so common place that hundreds of people are filming videos on knowing your rights.

As you saw last month in While We Were Sleeping and also pointed out in the website police crimes.com web site, after an unusual court case this summer, the United States Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that you must verbally announce that you are using your right to remain silent even if your rights have not been read to you. This includes if you are a witness. Therefore if you are going to use your 5th Amendment Rights  you must announce it before hand. That is not the case with “Jill” as she truly rests her case on the Unreasonable Search and Unreasonable Detainment rights.

What is not pointed out at the beginning of this video but discussed throughout is that she came to one of these off shoot check points in California. She had told them no she didn’t want them to search the car. They asked what was in the containers in the back seat and she had told them they were empty. They asked again to search her car, and she said no. So they brought in the drug dogs. The drug dogs sniffed around the vehicle. The drug dogs did not “hit”, or in plain English, did not indicate any drugs to be in the vehicle. That is when she asks to go. When they tell her no, she turns on the camera.

Watch what happens.
