Blast hits midtown Manhattan

A massive explosion has rocked Manhattan, few blocks away from the UN headquarters. Police and firefighters are at the scene. Initial reports suggest that an underground transformer exploded setting nearby cars on fire.

The incident occurred at the intersection of 50th street and 2nd Avenue. There have been no immediate reports of casualties.

    If a nation can spend billions of dollars manufacturing and sending arms to other countries don’t yuo think it could manage to repair crumbling infrastructure?
