China ‘challenging’ US military power: War Fears Rise After China Missile Tests Over Oregon

13

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) is reporting today that the Vityaz early-warning radar system deployed along the entire Russian border has confirmed the Republic of China Navy (ROCN) launching from their Type 092 Xia-class nuclear ballistic-missile submarine (SSBN) of two atomic JL-2 missiles off the Northeast American coastline near the State of Oregon on Wednesday 30 October and Wednesday 20 November.

China ‘challenging’ US military power War Fears Rise After China Missile Tests Over Oregon

According to this report, these two latest sub-launched nuclear ballistic tests by China off the west coast of the United States were preceded by a similar test conducted on Monday 10 November 2010 when a Chinese Navy Jin class ballistic missile nuclear submarine, deployed secretly from its underground home base on the south coast of Hainan island, launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from international waters off the southern California coast in full view of Los Angeles.

As the Pentagon and their US mainstream media sycophants covered up the 10 November 2010 China missile launch, this MoD report continues, they have likewise labeled the 30 October missile launch as a fireball-meteor and the 20 November one as ‘maybe’ another fireball-meteor or contrail.

Important to note, Russian intelligence analysts in this report say, was that China cryptically warned the US about its planned 30 October launch test when on Sunday 27 October the world was given a rare glimpse into China’s nuclear-powered submarine fleet, with State-owned media carrying extensive coverage of the previously mysterious strategic deterrence force.

The unprecedented revealing of the underwater fleet was a demonstration of China’s confidence in its sea-based nuclear strike capability and serves as a deterrent to any attempted provocation amid the changing geopolitical situation, said military observers.

Starting on Sunday 27 October, China Central Television carried serial coverage two days in a row on the submarine force of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy’s Beihai fleet in its flagship news program Xinwen Lianbo.

The People’s Daily, the PLA Daily and the China Youth Daily on Monday all carried front-page stories, features and commentaries on the submarine force, applauding its achievements since the launch of China’s first nuclear-powered submarine in December 1970.

To the most chilling warning to the Obama regime from China regarding these missile tests the Washington Times News Service further reports:

“Chinese calculations for nuclear attacks on the U.S. are chillingly macabre.

“Because the Midwest states of the U.S. are sparsely populated, in order to increase the lethality, [our] nuclear attacks should mainly target the key cities on the West Coast of the United States, such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego,” the Global Times said.

“The 12 JL-2 nuclear warheads carried by one single Type 094 SSBN can kill and wound 5 million to 12 million Americans,” the Global Times reported.

China also has developed land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles — notably the DF-31A, which has a range of 7,000 to 7,500 miles.

“If we launch our DF 31A ICBMs over the North Pole, we can easily destroy a whole list of metropolises on the East Coast and the New England region of the U.S., including Annapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Portland, Baltimore and Norfolk, whose population accounts for about one-eighth of America’s total residents.”

All the state-run press reports stressed the point that the PLA’s missile submarines are now on routine strategic patrol, “which means that China for the first time has acquired the strategic deterrence and second strike capability against the United States.”

Though the American people themselves have been kept in near total ignorance of the coming war between them and China, the same cannot be said of the rest of the world, including Doug Saunders of The Globe and Mail, Canada’s leading newspaper, who reported in its 15 July edition that the United States and China have been preparing for an all-out war and which we, in part, quote from The Nation News Service:

“Both the Pentagon and the People’s Liberation Army are building up their military strategies. It appears that a global war is in the making.

Saunders wrote that the Pentagon is proceeding with war preparations without oversight from the White House or Congress. This gives the impression that the Pentagon is operating as an independent state within the state. The Pentagon is relying on the AirSea Battle strategy, in which the US Army and Air Force will stand ready to support 320,000 military personnel in a simultaneous land and air attack against China in the event of a spillover war in the South China Sea or surrounding areas.

President Obama has spoken of a pivot to Asia, followed by the US Defence Department’s plan to move most of the US naval capability to the Asia Pacific to counter the rise of China. We can feel that the US military, in spite of the turmoil in Syria, Egypt and the Middle East, is re-asserting its influence in the Asia-Pacific. The US and China are now engaging in a full-scale currency war. A physical war could be the inevitable course. A rise of China threatens the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency and the US supremacy.

On China’s side, we can assume that the Chinese leadership has ordered a full preparation for a war with the United States. China has secretly built up its military capability, with modern weapons and sophisticated technology. China said it is ready to develop an anti-AirSea Battle strategy. China’s President has urged the military to prepare for the war and to fight to win.”

To how soon open warfare between China and the US will break out this report doesn’t say.  However, it does note that China’s “bombshell move” against the US Dollar this week makes its likelihood much sooner than later.

In further reporting on China’s move against the US Dollar the dissident American website InfoWars.com states:

“China just dropped an absolute bombshell, but it was almost entirely ignored by the mainstream media in the United States.  The central bank of China has decided that it is “no longer in China’s favor to accumulate foreign-exchange reserves”.  During the third quarter of 2013, China’s foreign-exchange reserves were valued at approximately $3.66 trillion.

For years, China has been systematically propping up the value of the U.S. dollar and keeping the value of the yuan artificially low.  This has resulted in a massive flood of super cheap products from across the Pacific that U.S. consumers have been eagerly gobbling up.

And now China has apparently decided that there is not much gutting of our economy left to do and that it is time to let the dollar collapse.

A US congressional panel, which advises lawmakers on the national security implications of the relationship between Washington and Beijing, has warned that China could possess the largest fleet of modern submarine and combatant ships in the western Pacific by 2020.

The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission said Wednesday in its annual report that Beijing’s military modernization is challenging decades of US pre-eminence in the region, the Associated Press reported.

The commission recommended that Congress should fund shipbuilding and increase the Navy’s operational presence in the region in support of the Defense Department’s goal to base 60 percent of its warships in the Asia-Pacific region by 2020, compared with about 50 percent currently.

The panel also recommended that the US should help allies improve their air and maritime capabilities in the region.

Observers say dealing with China’s growing military power is expected to be a priority of the Obama administration in the coming years.

The panel’s annual report also accused the Chinese government of “directing and executing a large-scale cyber espionage campaign against the US.” It said sanctions may be necessary to help deter the spying effort.

China has not yet responded to the allegations. But last year, Beijing’s foreign ministry condemned the panel’s annual report for having what it called a “Cold War” attitude.

The US accusation comes amid recent reports that Washington has widely spied on phone calls and Internet records of dozens of world leaders, including those of allied countries.

The congressional panel’s assessment of China’s naval capabilities draws on information from think tanks and US naval intelligence, according to AP.

Archie the Fed. and not the people have devalued the dollar ,and we are already paying for it here in our everyday lives. Our elected public servants have gone off the reservation and its up to the people to bring them back as we always have .Having said that we are not acting like the same people ,and the new folks are not responding as I would have liked. We get the Go. we deserve in the end.

Sorry Archie. From your name I kind of gathered that you yourself were an American. From your posts I see I was wrong. Be that as it may, again, for your edification, not that I would ever condone it but the population of China is a moot point. For one, if you were interested in utilizing the population for the means of military conquest you would have to get said people from that continent to this continent. That will not happen. A Chinese force would come up from Mexico and across the Strait that separates Russia from Alaska assuming they have permission which I’m sure they will. And the ones in Mexico would have to have been transported there a little at a time. Which is in fact what is being done but they can only get about 3000 over at a time. Eventually our bases in Texas will catch on that a military force is slowly taking formation south of the border and should be able to quell a great number of PLA. At this point we have “home field advantage”. Second of all dude, another reason population doesn’t matter? They’ve got nukes in their arsenal. We’ve got planet killers in our arsenal. And I guarantee you that our military would not hesitate to use scaled down versions of said planet killers to decimate China’s population instantaneously.

    • Archie1954 says:

I don’t disagree with your statement however my point was that after the nukes fly, the nation that has sufficient population left to pick up the pieces will be considered to have won (of course in reality there will be no winner so to speak). That is where numbers count. But I don’t believe there will be any movement of men on the ground. That is not how wars will be fought in the future. It will all be by drones, nuclear missiles and EMP. In fact even more appropriate, especially in China’s case, the ability to destroy the unit of currency of the enemy will be the way the US fails. The US dollar, already on the ropes can be finished off by China anytime it wishes. That is the true strength that China has over the US.

  3. Archie1954 says:

The US complaining about China’s potential hegemony is like the kettle calling the pot black! Americans are simply getting back what they have gleefully given for so many years.

  4. carl says:

AS of now the subs they have are easily detected by our defences and an anti missile defence system which can shoot down their icbm’s.They have nowhere near our navy and our air force capabilities. As for the debt they hold a war with us would wipe out all of it, and we would no longer owe a dime. Why would a country becoming an economic and political power after hundreds of years falling behind risk it all by picking a fight with the most powerful military in the world? Our allies would also support this war because they would be forced to take sides,Japan Australia and India would also attack China as well as our Nato alliance Russia would be hard pressed to choose as it also has much to lose by a war. This war talk is always crazy and its just a piece that is not now part of this equation a crazy leader of a crazy country such a Korea.

    • Davidus Romanus says:

Indeed. Why would a second rate power like Italy risk entering WW II? Why would Germany risk two world wars? Why would Japan risk war with the US? Don’t tell me that smart people will never start a war. Besides, having a nuclear deterrent isn’t starting a war, it’s trying to prevent one. The crazed neocons in the US all think we can win any war we start. (How’s that working out for them in Iraq and Afghanistan?) Maybe the Chinese just want us to know that if we start one, even one we eventually win, it will be costly. We will not get off without millions of casualties. Also, they don’t have to attack us to win, just watch the dollar fail after they sell off their US bonds. How will we be able to wage war when our money is worthless?

      • AdamC says:

Are you hedged to withstand this that you speak of if indeed it takes place or do you determine to bear the same with a grin at seeing us “get what we deserve”? I’m not a neo-con. I’m an ori-con. For your edification a neo-con is a liberal who comes over to the conservative side for popularity reasons. So when you say “neo-con” as some kind of insult, assuming you are a liberal, you really lambast your own. The powers that be have been planning this for years. A mighty quell of the earth’s population. To suit the environmentalists, pagans and luciferians out there. This is exactly what they want. Will we eventually go to war with China? Of course. Only a fool will say that it is an impossibility. But I for one am not looking forward to it as you seem to be. I personally, as faulty as they are, don’t WANT to see my countrymen suffer at the ravages of war on this shore. Nor do I support it on others. Most that are injured or killed will be those who have no hostility toward the Chinese people whatsoever. They will be mamas and babies. Little boys and little girls. And no it’s not alright for our own to hurt others. But if you would cheer our own being killed, maimed, raped or tormented for the revenge of another you truly have a black heart. Can we win? I think we probably could. But if this is part of Judgment then we won’t sadly. I think Obama would probably open the front door for them and roll out the red carpet of the White House for the Emperor of China to waltz in and take the Oval Office.

        • Archie1954 says:

The US could never win a war with China. How do you measure winning? Could it be that the nation that still has the ability to go on as a country after the war is the winner? With 1.5 billion people, China will continue even after a nuclear war whereas the US will be totally destroyed!

          • AdamC says:

we are a sovereign nation we set the value of our currency as long as it is used to trade .And yes ww2 had some countries attack Europe and us but that was a different time [ no bomb]The stakes are high if a crazy move is made many will die and not just those in the trenches but those at the top.I have no taste for such destruction and waste China if it makes a mistake and goes for war will end its rise to power overnight. The shift of wealth has already happened the top has all the chips .Wars are breaking out all over the world if you believe the news, but I think people are in the streets stopping this not promoting it .Another world war if the bomb is used will make this planet a very different place for everyone .Going to war with China is not certain ,everyone thought we would go to war with Russia never happened ,we went to small countries and fought there. We were stopped from going into Syria by the people and Russia stepped in and changed the game.Never predict the future if you don’t want to be wrong .

        • Archie1954 says:

Yes the US is a sovereign nation and sets the value of its own currency but it has sadly neglected its duty and responsibility to be honest, fair and just with such value. Today it is rapidly diluting the value of its currency. Under normal circumstances that would not be a concern as I would only affect the nation doing the dilution. However when the currency also serves as the reserve currency of the world, every nation pays for such dilution and dishonesty. You will find that the result of American venality is the discontinuance of the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. You dear Americans are going to start paying your own way finally.

A Russian submarine was stationed at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico for a very long time recently with the US being totally unaware of it. The way you prevent wars is to have the ability of total mutual destruction. That is what China is doing. It looks back on the American history of war involvement and its constant provocations near Chinese borders and decided enough is enough, no more quailing at American military power!
