Deal or no deal, Iran may be bombed – Israeli minister

A military strike against Iranian facilities is not out of the question, even though Tehran has reached agreement on a probe with the UN’s nuclear watchdog, says Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

The official was referring to a deal announced on Tuesday by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Barak called it an Iranian ploy to fend off international pressure.

The minister told Army Radio that “a nuclear Iran is intolerable and no options should be taken off the table,” referring to the use of force.

He said the only way Israel could see Iran develop its civilian nuclear industry is if it shuts down all of its uranium enrichment sites and uses imported fuel.

The comments came as Iranian nuclear negotiators are meeting the P5+1 group in Baghdad on Wednesday. They are to discuss the conflict over Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which the West suspects of being a clandestine attempt to build an atomic weapon. Iran insists its pursuits are purely civilian.

“Dragging things out, in our eyes, is problematic, so conversations between the West and Iran must occur more frequently. North Korea also negotiated with the West but in the end tested nuclear weapons,” Barak pointed out.

Last week US Ambassador Dan Shapiro said the Pentagon has a plan for a military strike on Iran, and may carry it out if ordered.

“It would be preferable to resolve this diplomatically and through the use of pressure than to use military force,” he said.

Possible use of force against Iran has been discussed by Israel and its western allies for months. Israel insists on the right to strike when and if it sees fit, saying it will not ask for anyone’s consent. There is fear that if such an attack happens, Iran would retaliate at any forces it sees as enemies, which could result in a major regional war.

In all fairness, this is sheer implementation New World Order. Islamic block will suffer the most. Thanks to Zionist Designs.

We al always take it granted that Russia and China will jump-in. Rest assured, they wont. Look at American invasion in Iraq and Afghanistan. Instead of retaliation, they have maintained silence. Reason? – Very simple! Both want America to exhaust its energy so that its downfall could be induced at an earlier time!

You may not agree to this but just wait and see!!!

Even with a double-dose of Viagara Natanyahu couldn’t ‘get it up long enough to attack Iran’ without the Great Satan – Period!

What a bunch of shit. If Isreal has the right to use nuclear fuel. why cant Iran? they are a sovergn country and it is thier right to enrich uranium for WHATEVER purpose. Another lame ass excuse to invade another country. If USA and Isreal were so worried about nuclear bombs why dont direct all this at North Korea? they have nuclear bombs and just tested a means to get it over to the usa…but that obviously failed. My point being…If Isreal is so concerned about tcountries having nuclear capabilities…why not go after people who have them instead of who MIGHT do this or MIGHT do that. Its nothing more than speculation and accusations against a country who is minding thier own business.

Saqib, I am totally lost in your idiotic argument. If you dont have any stuff to utter, then simply remain silent. WW3 happens or not, time will tell.

Such a war would also result in the completion of the destruction of the American economy started by GW Bush. No oil, no economy!

I feel a nuclear israel is more of a threat than Iran, after all the zionists have already attacked a US ship on the high-seas,killing 54 and wounding 134 U.S. sailors and their involvement in 9/11,to draw the U.S. into fighting their battles in the Middle-east..We here in the USA know what the jews are up too but we must learn how to destroy the israel entity before they involve us in WW 3……..

I have often wondered why the great USA was acting like an elephant afraid of the Israeli mouse. Why didn’t the attack on the Liberty result in repercussions?

The Russians made it clear it is expecting an attack against Iran, which Russia would treat as a direct attack against Russia itself which is why Russian forces are massing at Iran’s border. If the US is involved, we can expect a high altitude (400 miles) nuclear air burst over North America from Russia, resulting in a massive EMP attack against us all.

the problem is that even if Israel attacks Iran(without U.S consent)Iran will go to war with the U.S,and that would escalate into WW3 because Russia and China will note sit idle
