Lots of arguments here but the facts are that germany was far superior technically,however the allies had the numbers behind them ,plus time wasnt on germanys side.They saw the end too late to be able to do much about it.
Since the Allies had a "Germany First" policy, and since the Nazis had no viable nuclear weapons program on the scale required to produce at least one high yield fission weapon – all of this makes nice TV or "what if" documentaries but is in reality nonsense. If the Nazis had held out for 3 months longer and had the pilots, fuel, jets, and rockets to put up a stiff resistance the Nazis would have been the recipient of Fat Man and Little Boy. All it takes is one B-29 at 35,000 feet. Fact.

The british were the 1st to have a jet plane. But Germany got theirs into production 1st. Differnce was the british wanted to make sure it was safe to fly before they put it into full production while the germans got their flying with all the faults in the design so they were not as good as the british ones cause of it. But WWII was planned in the 1920's by britain france and poland. The only part they couldnt plan was when it would start and end. they tried to get the war going before hitler came to power but failed cause germany woulndt take the bait. 1st was the french invading the rhineland against the treaty of verasille. Then the Polish invading danzig again a treaty violation. All countryies had to go by ther max men in arms of 100k not just germany. and no country was allowed to have an airforce. All vilotated by france britain and germany. fact is germany was the only country to abide by the treaty and they didnt break it till 1938. The dambusters raid was actualy planned in 1937 but didnt happen till 1942. Danzig was under the control of the league of nations and no country was allowed to control it. Germany made a deal with Poland to pull out their troops and hand it back to the league of nations. britiain and france told Poland no u stay in danzig we will defend u if Germany declares war. But they also told germany well poland broke the treaty so feel free to go and kick them out and we wont get involved. Both churchill and chamberalin stated in 1938 that the war with Germany must last at least 3 years. Thye wanted the war to last as long as possible so they could bomb germany to smitherins and kill as many Grmans as they could. britain saw germany asa threat to their empire and wanted them wiped off the map. france wanted west germany to bepart of france and poland wanted east germany. So the treaty of versaille was drawn up in such a way as to create another war with germany and the planners which included churchill started planning WWII in 1920. Hitler didnt get into power till 1933. Geamny had no plans at all to invade Norway and didnt go into Norway till after the British did even though Norway tols the British they were not welcome and to get out cause they saw that if the British had troops in Norway germany would invade to push the brits out. That was Churchills plan all along and in the plans drawn up in 1920. The plan backfired though as france fell faster than expected but was part of the plan to let Poland and france fall and Britian to stand on its own to try and get the US into the war as well. production of very good planes was put on hold to make sure germany had the advantage in the air. They canceled the development of the Hurricae cause it was the only plane cablable of taking on the ME109 and instead gave the job to spitfire which was the worst fighter the brits had. The mosquito was delayed for 4 years cause it proved it was a very good plane. The metior could of been flying in 1939 but again got delayed cause it was too good. The centurion tank was designed in 1935 but didnt enter service till 1945 and is still classed as 1 of the best tanks in the world today. it kept getting put on the back burner cause it was way too good and the Germans had nothing to beat it. French tanks pulled out of the battle cause again the Germans had nothing to beat them Even the Polish tanks were better than the German tanks. The stuka was the only weapon the Germans had that could take out the Polish tanks. The German tanks couldnt even get close to them. Every german pilot asked which plane they hated the most they all said the Huricane as they could not beat it but the spitfire was easy meat to shoot down. The facts speak for themselves. 80% of the RAF fighter force was hurricanes 10% were spitfires. yet spitfires accounted for 80% of fighter losses during the battle of britain and hurricanes accounted for 80% of german losses. On avarage for every plane a spitfire shot down 10 were shot down by hurricanes and far more aces were hurricane pilots and most hurricane pilots refused to fly spitfies cause they didnt want to be sitting ducks. The germans had aircraft carries but no planes to put on them cause gering refused to allow plane prodution to be split between fighters and carrier planes but the ME109 and Stukas had carrier versions but didnt get put into production. If the luftwaffe hadnt been so greedy about hoging plane production the royal navy would of been wiped out by the German carrier fleet Hitler orderd 5 carriers to be built and several other ships were being converted to carriers. none got completed cause no point building them if they couldnt get the planes to use them. to many prema donnas in germany fighting over what should be and shouldnt be built cost Germany the war in the long term. But britain had a lot of secret weapons they delayed going into service to keep the war going longer than it needed too.. IE the french army beat the german army on the french border in 1939 and broke thorugh and was heading to Berlin. Hitler surrenderd but was turned down and the french troops ordered to retreat. 1940 Belgiun troops beat the germans and had them in full retreat but again ordered to retreat. the french ordred it best unites away from the ardenned and sent them to Africa to allow the Germans to break through. N.Africs western desert force with 25k men and 100 tanks annilitaded the italian army of 200 tanks and 2 million men in a 3 month campiegn and just as they were about to capture tripoli the only place left in N.Africa italian and German reinforcements could arrive was orderd to halt their advance then most of the troops were taken away leaving just 1000 men and 10 tanks to hold the front line. The genatal in command was removed from command cause he refused to stop his advance. If he had been allowed to continue the war in N.Africa would of been over. But nope it went on for another 2 years cause of stupid orders. All part of the plan so the British bombers could kill as many Germans and flatten as many geman cities as it could.
