Because Werner Karl Heisenberg believed several hundred kilograms of fissionable material were needed to make a bomb the German A-bomb project was flawed at the start. Heisenberg based his calculations on the case where 90%+ of the split neutrons must interact for a successful reaction and thus a mass of several hundred kilograms was "needed" to meet his goal. Germany did not have the scientific know how nor industrial resources to make weapons-grade material. And in fact the US Little Man worked with 64 kilograms of U235 and just 6 grams of that fissioned to yield a 15 kiloton blast.
Heavy water is used in Nuclear power plants! As far as i know only 1 'quasi' reactor was found by the Americans under a castle! As for the uranium watch the YouTube video about the sub U 234! The uranium was used for the Manhattan project!
Main reason they did not get a bomb built was their despisal at quote ' Jewish physics' . Remember Heidelberg though.

The reason the Germans did not get a bomb built? The scientists were smart enough to leave. And am quite sure the U.S. used Norwegian Heavy water. Sheesh.

Norsk Hydro is still a active company to this day,I worked in Leeds UK for a foundery which was bought by Hydro in late 90`s,we made cylinder heads and engine blocks for the car industry,plant was closed in 2004,Hydro also made aluminium which we used,they owned big hydro electric plants,you need a lot of electricity to make aluminium.
They still a world leader in fertilizers etc.

I just jumped a bit, but seems to be all about heavy water?! and "Hydro"? Means in English Water or? Never ever would Nazis call anything they made with a English Name, and a ship called "Hydro"? "Wasser" in German? It sounds soo stupid?! But they repeat this name several times during 2 minutes, however I change docu, I think it is a list of many many cases and not just one or maybe 2 (if we part I will not watch will bring a 2nd case but I doubt somehow…)
