You aren't even close to the truth. Whoever told you this doesn't know much about the Bible. The plain fact is Constantine had almost nothing to do with the Bible. Go down to your Bible book store and look at all the modern translations and admire: all of them are more accurate than any Bible Constantine ever saw in his life. The majority of the books had been determined long before Constantine was born and the final canon was decided after he died.

As for "being written several hundred years after … Christ", again you know very little about the Bible. All the books in the Bible had been written before the end of the first century AD.
If you want to talk about manipulation of the christian religion to enslave people, it's really due to the Satan infiltrated Catholic religion. The bible, when read properly..is not useful for control over people at all. Pagan concepts like a fiery hell when metaphorically God's "flame" purifies sinners after living an experience of good & evil is much more indicative of a "loving, just God" than the flawed translation we have today.
How come religious people can read one book and know it all, (Bible) yet scientists can read hundreds of books and still admit they have more to learn? Blind faith does not equal knowledge, blurts.Even science is mans best guess, therefore religion is mans worst INVENTION.
