While President Obama’s supporters hailed his withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq as the end of the war in the middle east, behind the scenes the Pentagon has been quietly massing troops and armaments on two islands located just south of the Strait of Hormuz, and within easy striking distance of Iran.
In addition to some 50,000 U.S. troops currently in the region waiting for orders (apparently they won’t be home by this past Christmas as was originally promised), Nobel Peace Prize winner President Barack Obama is deploying an additional 50,000 soldiers to be ready for ‘any contingency’ by March:
President Barack Obama is reported exclusively by DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military and Washington sources to have secretly ordered US air, naval and marine forces to build up heavy concentrations on two strategic islands – Socotra, which is part of a Yemeni archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and the Omani island of Masirah at the southern exit of the Strait of Hormuz.
Since 2010, the US has been quietly building giant air force and naval bases on Socotra with facilities for submarines, intelligence command centers and take-off pads for flying stealth drones, as part of a linked chain of strategic US military facilities in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
The Socotra facilities are so secret that they are never mentioned in any catalogue listing US military facilities in this part of the world, which include Jebel Ali and Al Dahfra in the United Arab Emirates; Arifjan in Kuwait; and Al Udeid in Qatar – all within short flying distances from Iran.
Additional US forces are also being poured into Camp Justice on the barren, 70-kilometer long Omani island of Masirah, just south of the Hormuz entry point to the Gulf of Oman from the Arabian Sea.

Western military sources familiar with the American buildup on the two strategic islands tell DEBKA-Net-Weekly that, although they cannot cite precise figures, they are witnessing the heaviest American concentration of might in the region since the US invaded Iraq in 2003.
Then, 100,000 American troops were massed in Kuwait ahead of the invasion. Today, those sources estimate from the current pace of arrivals on the two island bases, that 50,000 US troops will have accumulated on Socotra and Masirah by mid-February. They will top up the 50,000 military already present in the Persian Gulf region, so that in less than a month, Washington will have some 100,000 military personnel on the spot and available for any contingency.
US air transports are described as making almost daily landings on Socotra and Masirah. They fly in from the US naval base of Diego Garcia, one of America’s biggest military facilities, just over 3,000 kilometers away. The US military presence in the region will further expand in the first week of March when three US aircraft carriers and their strike groups plus a French carrier arrive in the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea: They are theUSS Abraham Lincoln, USS Carl Vinson, USS Enterprise and the Charles de Gaulle nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
A fourth US carrier will be standing by in the Pacific Ocean, a few days’ sailing time from the water off Iran’s coast.

The build up in the middle east is much more than any contrived threat from Iran. The western think tanks have shown their hand by moving such military hardware to the middle east. They control the west totally, other parts of the world are controlled through the financial markets, trade, and that political entity the UN. The power of the British Empire was built on bankers, business, and conquest.Those ruling banking families have not gone away, they are more powerful, more wealthy than they have ever been in their centuries of dominating world events. Politicians have come and gone, the power behind the throne, those banking oligarchs are going nowhere. For those that think they will change that which has been in process for centuries are deluding themselves and others. Just as those well intentioned individuals on the Titanic tried to help others, it came to the point where the ship was at such a pitch that one could not even help ones own loved ones, it ended up where it was everyman for himself. The global ship is pitching and becoming evermore out of the control of everyone, for this is a global agenda to far, even for those oligarchal families, for we are all on the same global ship. To go to the top of the pyramid of control you then can see what those who have deliberately created this global mess see, and it reveals what their intentions are. Destruction of every facet of life is taking place, all life support systems of the planet are under intense attack, people are sidetracked by this or that problem, when the totallity of the global problems are without number, and insoluble. Desperation is growing, people will come to realise that we are in an ever increasing apocalyptic global situation. Thousands of years of human history and human behaviour should tell us that we are fast approaching life and death situations that will face us all in our towns, cities and streets, and all anyone can do is to prepare to survive as best as we personally know how, for that is what it will come down to. The repercussions of any attack on Iran will lead us to the total collapse of the global system as we now know it. They are about to unleash an ocean of humanity that will be uncontrollable, as is now evidenced by scores of countries and hundreds of cities around the world being besieged, occupied, protested, by tens of millions of mankind on the move. This is a powerful indicator of what is coming. The final act, of the final scene is about to be played out on the WORLD scene. Military hardware and bases of the power elite circle the planet as never before, military positioning is almost complete to pre-empt all possibilities as they see it. Looking from such a lofty position one can only conclude that what is coming will leave no one unaffected, not even those who have perpetrated the coming catastrophy. Now we have a world dominated as never before, with weapons that go far beyond what existed in the past, leading us to the inevitable conclusion that those same mentally deranged rulers who have always ruled, and who now have such awesome weapons, will leave the greatest ruins of all.
Gee, sending a ready to be retired aircraft carrier to the gulf and 100,000 troops and no evidence of any nukes in Iran according to the Director of National Intel and the head of CIA who so testified in committee meetings this week. Hmmm, that means Israel controls our government and not our congress. Does anyone find that a war situation with Israel??? They occupy our government and pentagon???
