Alex. I was in Ukraine when the riots started. We were waiting on a passport for my son who was born there. We just got out before the coup happened. My wife was in contact with a friend in Kiev who claimed that young pro leftist EU supporters were being paid in American dollers to Riot. The reports that came out from the west media were bias and slanted as usual. We witnessed the real story as it unfolded. There was an anti EU protest occuring at the same time, bigger in numbers at the beginning, however they were silenced with violence. Several dealths occured even in the beginning. She also has family in Crimea. Over 90% of the population wanted the Referendum. Even before this they considered themselves russians and celebrated after. I met these people too and spent alot of time in Crimea. They are all proud Russians Same thing occured in the East. Infact a large population in the east of Kiev speak Russian and consider themselves Russians.
