New Bill Would Require the Conscription of “All Persons Between the Ages of 18 and 25 to Perform National Service”

This week Charles Rangel, a crazy politician from New York who has recently been pushing for regulations on private gun ownership, is now putting forward a bill that would force young people to take up arms for the state, or at least work in some uniformed way to help the government with their never ending war effort.

New Bill Would Require the Conscription of “All Persons Between the Ages of 18 and 25 to Perform National Service”

H.R. 748 would require everyone from 18-25 to join:

“uniformed services or as civilian service in a Federal, State, or local government program or with a community-based agency or community-based entity, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to provide for the registration of women under the Military Selective Service Act, and for other purposes.”

Not only are the wars currently taking place around the world totally inhumane and illegitimate, but the very concept of conscription is nothing more than slavery, forcing someone to do something against their will.

Not only that but a mandatory draft would put people into a dangerous situation and force them to kill against their will.

With no end in sight for the wars across the Middle East and now Africa, it should be no surprise that bringing the draft back would definetly be on the agenda.

They may be able to dress up the language and make it seem like its no big deal, but a bill of this nature could certainly be used to force unwilling people into war in foreign lands that they have no desire in fighting.

Although, this will probably be targeted mostly at developing auxiliary citizen police forces to suppress people at home, at least for now anyway.

I’m sorry, I think this is just fear-mongering “journalism”. It’s called Selective Service. If you’re 18 or older you have to be registered for it, They;re not talking about armed services AT ALL.

Absolutely the U.S. should have mandatory service. It’s not just for war-craft but also that we’re ready for it and the whole world knows it. Also, I think that if we had universal service people would pay attention when the president proposes to send the country to war. Making it less likely we would fight.

You miss the point Chad. If we all were drafted, and forced to do something; we are already slaves. The point of an armed force is that they are willing, not forced to defend the homeland. A military force who signs up without being forced is more a good soldier then someone who’s number was called. They fight with more passion, and have much more will power to finish the tasks assigned to them.

Once again I don’t claim to be any xpert… and related to the above story on “conscription into the military” there appears to be a big push in the State of Michigan to get people between the ages of 18 and 25 years of age signed-up for the draft, to possibly become inducted involuntarily into the United States military. No further comment. I don’t pretend to condone,or concur with the related http://www.pakalert press.com story… I am only making an observation.

maybe this has a flip side. It would then educate another 30 million young adults how to defend themselves with weapons. Maybe they could then target shoot those 2 billion rounds of DHS bullets and get rid of them.

Hmmm, Charles Rangel the sloven perv wants all Americans to serve. No longer an all volunteer force.
Yet dear Charles did no serve himself and will not let his children serve just like the Elite who have never been in real danger in any battle. Very few “officers” see the front lines and send the enlisted in to play the Elite war games where death is the outcome.
Who were exempt in the draft?
Those who could afford to send their kids to College, those of privilege. Or as the Elite put it the little people are for war. Or as adviser to seven US Presidents, Henry Kissinger put it. ““Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” – Henry Kissinger, quoted in “Kiss the Boys Goodbye”
