This is kinda stunning, and at the same time uncomfortable to watch. This girl sounds nervous; yet principled, in the same fashion we observed of the state run media operations in Iraq and Libya when the USA commenced bombing the crap out of their countries and they were forced to report that “everything is roses”.
Liz Wahl, an anchor for Kremlin-funded propaganda network RT, announced her immediate resignation on the air Wednesday afternoon. She cited the network’s inability to objectively cover Russian president Vladimir Putin and the country’s armed occupation of Ukraine.
“Personally, I cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashes the actions of Putin,” she said. “I’m proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth. That is why, after this newscast, I’m resigning.”
It’s not just Abby Martin’s fault; neither the MSM, RT.com, nor independent media has seized on this perfect opportunity to mention something so important to the public, that the entire scope of the conflict would change in 2 minutes. If Abby Martin was truly independent of RT.com influence, she may have focused on the most important development of the crisis. That EU representatives admitted that the sniper attacks were executed by the “new coalition”. At minimum, and investigation is warranted & the crisis should be halted.

Ms. Martin either missed a great opportunity, or is a victim of Russian government diversion. Maybe Russia loves the benefit of winning the propaganda war in the Ukrainian crisis. Maybe Russia is more cooperative with the U.S. military industrial complex—- as they were during the perpetual cold war — countless trillions were reaped on both sides & not one shot was ever fired.
Reality is that the U.S. State Department, EU, Russia, RT.com, etc. have everything to gain by keeping the crisis narrative right where it is — each side is fighting for “freedom”. The truth is that it’s all fabricated—-Abby Martin is merely a pawn in the scheme, and may in fact be guilty of intentionally ignorance to get the nod from her Russian government master as she makes the MSM rounds to tought her tough stance on Putin (making RT.com look fair & balanced in light of the Liz Walz embarassment), as well as her independence from corporate advertisers.
