"My family was one of the families who lost a child yesterday." Not our child, A child … distancing language. He's also pausing to lose composure at odd times (trying not to overdo it) while showing nearly zero emotion on his face, sometimes almost seeming to fight a grin. People handle loss in different ways, but this seems to be pretty plain to see. One very obvious and unusual point which Is rarely mentioned……would they REALLY Interview little boys and girls within a few hours of them having witnessed such a traumatic event? Most of them didn't even have a parent, or Indeed ANY adult, present during the Interviews; wouldn't YOU be holding tightly onto your child rather than letting them go off for a quick Interview? Then we have the demeanour of the kids, smilingly calm almost to the point of disinterest, no excitement or visible upset; puzzling to say the least considering what they've witnessed.
