Apparently the names of several thousand Germans are on the list. I hope those who will be charged and get convicted will get at least some jail time. Financial sanctions are just not deterrent enough.
Deutschen Bank, Dresdner Bank, Commerzbank and BayernLB enabled the tax evasion by providing the service of founding the off-shore companies. Although this is technically not illegal it is highly unethical and undermines the general moral which is essential for a functioning society.
The sheer size of the files (more than 2 TB!) suggests that this could be very big and that we just seen the tip of the iceberg. Let's wait and see before rushing into any conclusions about the 'leakers'.

Wikileaks leaks a report on Roundup thats the usa will but sanctions on a nation who forbids the use of Roundup/Glysopath (made by mega corp Monsanto) and many test proved that Roundup causes cancer and its absorbed by the human body with bad long term health effects and guess what the Dutch goverments does….They ban it for small consumers to spray there gardens but the farmers who use millions a liters a year cause its cheap can keep on going to polute..

1) SZ is not going to share their info with the generalpublic or prosecuting authorities.
2) SZ is not going to publish all the names involved, only the ones they deem of public interest.
3) Sofar SZ has not found names related to German or US politicians.
4)Why was this date chosen to publish? -> It was the earliest possible.
5)The source claims moral motives for his/her/theiractions.
6) SZ does not know how the source obtained the data.
7) SZ cooperates with the International Consortium of InvestigativeJournalists (ICIJ) on this matter. ICIJ is part of Center for Public Integrity (CPI) a US based non-profit organization sponsored (among others) by Ford Foundation, die Adessium Foundation (founded by George Soros), Open Society Foundation, Pulitzer Center ofCrisis Reporting.
