Thank you for sharing your life experience, wisdom and strength with me. You say not to give up and fallow your dreams. It is so bazaar to me at just the right moment in my life when I need to hear something powerful and up lifting I stumble across your album! I could have not of asked my angal to send a more clear picture for my situation!!! keep spreding the hard core message that's what hard core is truly about!

This honestly feels like their laziest album. All songs sounds basically the same with the same structure. Got nothing on discovering the waterfront or when broken is easily fixed.

Was a huge Silverstein fan back when I was a young brooding little turd. Never heard anything they released after Waterfront, looking forward to some good ol' nostalgic emo sadcore goodness.

Silverstein is just downright amazing. Not one bad album by them. Though this is probably my least favorite. But it's still a good album Discovering The Waterfont is their best to me..though When Broken Is Easily Fixed gives it a good run for it's money.

I grew up listening to Discovering The Waterfront, and only recently (about a year ago) I found When Broken Is Easily Fixed. I just found this one, and then I finally realized that Silverstein has like… 6 albums. Damn, I really need to catch up.

I remember when this came out everyone was so disappointed.  it didn't have the same energy as their previous album.  looking back its a great album (always liked it, just not as much), although it is probably their worst album IMO.

I'm not really sure you could call Silverstein "emo"… However, They're lyrics do hit you right in the feels. Honestly, I don't think it really matters what genre they are as long as they stay awesome. I've been listening to them for a few years now and every time I listen to them it's like a brand new experience.

guys……. all the ''they're emo'' ''no they're not'' crap down below……..

yes, they are emo, and yes, that is indeed a genre, problem? no.

''emotive hardcore'' started half the shit out there. AND, its not at all a bad thing to be emo. all it means is you listen to this kind of music, and some other genres. has nothing to do with who you are, what you do, or how you dress.

i used to wear blue jeans and white shirts, ha a buzz cut, and happy as could be, emo.

silverstien is posthardcore/alt metal/pop punk/emotive hardcore/metal/metalcore/alt rock/and about 30 others, how/ doesnt matter what the band is, if they have but one song that is pop, then pop goes on the list, 3 songs of metal, metal is on the list.

so if you think a band is a certian genre, it most likely is. but its also a zillion other genre's.

honestly, i feel like shot for even partaking in this conversation. so i'l just say what i was orginally going to:

silverstien, keep it up, your music has saved lives, made other ones better, and entertained masses.
you dont evolve your music away from your origanl sound, you evolve it around said sound, and thats what makes you so uniqe.

whispers shane dye your hair red, im going to marry you. and force yall to let me join the band, and i'll cook all yall's meals, and bring candy bars and dr.pepper every day…… ._. end whisper

Silverstein is not emo. You don't need to be emo to listen to Silverstein. Silverstein doesn't make music for emos. Silverstein are amazing musicians since 2000. Best band ever if you ask me. They make music for everyone… not just for emos. I've been listening to them for more than 5 years and they're just getting better.

I'm an American. I'm a Christian. However, I don't believe in imaginary national borders and religious divides, which are synthetic; man-made, to the layperson such as yourself…Peace be with all my MUSLIM, Christian, Hindu, and Buddhist brothers..may our message of peace, love, compassion and charity reach those lacking..such as our deeply troubled friend porcu12345..Love those who hate you, right? Love is the only thing that drives out anger and hatred.. God bless you man..

  46. Jesse Clarkson May 1, 2013 at 4:20 am - Reply

Really?!? Are we not as a human race beyond imaginary borders? People like you are the reason why the rest of the world hates America (not to mention our imperialistic polices of invading countries and inciting regime change when it's in our "national security interest" aka resources)..as if you and I are better than anyone else on the planet? That is bigotry and ignorant beyond belief. We are all God's children.
