Arrived Baltimore, MD 9/six/61 from New York, NY for deferred repairs to bottom plates damage sustained ten/27/60 in addition damage sustained in St Lawrence Seaway. 9/ten/sixty three: generator turbine broken in consequence of alleged engineer’s carelessness whilst the vessel was on passage from Madras, India to Calcutta, India. Damage to propeller fixed at Todd Shipyards in Seattle, WA in August.. 9/9/70: Arrived Sattahip, Thailand from Tacoma, WA with refrigeration failure adhering to repairs proceeded to Qui Nhon, South Vietnam. 5/17/seventy one Final voyage of SS Sea Marlin/Metal Director from Saigon, South Vietnam arrived at Kaohsiung, Republic of China prior to six/ten/seventy one where by she was scrapped.
