RFID can only be used with a close proximity scanner. Certainly the spooks could identify you if you walk through the detection field, but to deploy this nationwide to track people would insurmountably expensive and ineffective.

What they are talking about in the healthcare bill is a chip in medical devices, i.e. hip and knee replacements. These already have a serial number in the package that is attached to the medical record during surgery. This is how they keep track of devices in case of problems. It doesn’t mean that the chip IS the “medical device” and that we will all be getting one.

I have been searching the bill, and on page 1003/4 it mentions the imolantable chip and
what is allowed to be stored in it, but I cannot see anywhere about everyone having to get
one implanted, could you check again and see if it really says everyone, the other point is all sections of the bil lmust be implemented within 36 months looking forward to more information
