Once again Abbey Martin lets it rip in her unique style and calls out Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg for the questionable practices that make Facebook another “arm of the surveillance state. Specifically the data mining and tracking now prevalent on the social media site.
Key quote: It’s entire operation is a wet dream for the surveillance state.”
The portion about “shadow profiles,” is extremely alarming.
Just two days ago it was reported that 48.3 percent of Facebook users that have quit the social networking site, did so over privacy concerns on the site.
After listening to the data revealed in the video below, that number may just start rising as the information gets out to the general public.
