I feel as if we're saying to the Syrian people, "your dead are not Americans. Those faces are not the faces of our children and this war is not ours to fight. We can't help you. I'm sorry for your loss. Good luck."

I don't disagree that Syria needs help but damn learn how to fight your own battles. If you don't want America intervening stop asking for help, it is dumb to ask for help and get upset when someone responds.

actually no not true…correct the president cant declare war however he/she does have full use of the military for up to 60 days (and an extra 30 days for withdrawal if congress gives no approval) according to the war powers resolution. also this rule has been overridden twice in the past so whats to say it wont get overridden again? i agree tho US needs to keep its nose out of these other countries and worry about its own problems
CIA and FBI have already been proved to be corrupt in themselves..even top military officials are starting to get ousted for criminal activity. we no longer have the government we were built upon but rather a corporate ran state lead by the elite 1% only looking to line their greedy pockets more and more no matter who they have to step on to get what they want.
