The sequence of events given by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 is confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 24. He tells us about the man of lawlessness taking his stand in the holy place in verse 15 then comes the cataclysmic events released by the sixth seal in verse 29, then the sign of the Son of Man appears in the sky, then he sends forth his angels with a great trumpet and they gather together his people from one end of the sky to the other in verse 31. The abomination of desolation is the event that reveals the man of lawlessness as the antichrist. So in both accounts, Jesus and Paul tell us the man of lawlessness must be revealed before the rapture.
Jesus stated it very plainly when he said, “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place…” (Matthew 24:15). He was speaking about end-time events, not applicable to the people standing there listening to him at that moment. So when he said “when you see” he revealed the generation of believers who is living at the time of the end will see the man of lawlessness enter the holy place, which is the abomination that brings desolation. The only way we would be able to see this event is if we are still on earth when it happens. Therefore the rapture must happen after this event.

Brother mike. I was praying really hard last night, I won't go into detail but I was praying for my friends and family. What he said to me shows what a merciful God we serve and is full of grace. He told me "what makes you think I love them any less than you". He said it with a kind and loving voice. I've had peace ever since. God is still in control and is alive and well.
May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ protect all his children! Fast and pray my brothers and sisters! I love you all so much! Know that Jesus is holding us all in his arms, do not fear for our father loves us all SO much!!!
