Ultimately, Crowley was a fucking coward and a hypocrite. he "championed" individual liberty and freedom but enslaved those souls pathetic enough to believe his bullshit by getting them hooked on drugs and manipulating their minds until they were no better than mindless slaves. this bitch claims "Do what thou wilt" but then controls every thought, action, feeling, decision, opinion, relationship, etc of his dumbass followers.
in the end, if all his magic bullshit was him acting out against his childhood abuse and being forced to live according to the absurd rules of christianity, then why subjugate his own fucking children to the same exact thing? in the end, he was also dumb as shit since he couldn't even use the intellect and deductive mind he was so proud of to see how he was just perpetuating the cycle of abuse and misery he experienced with his kids and his followers.

I think this all leads to him plying his victims with hashish and hallucinatory drugs like mescaline until they were out of their minds while he curbed his own intake.
he was too much of a coward to take the blame for the death of his first born daughter and too much of a pathetic, sniveling sack of shit to be a father to the kids he brought into this world. they never chose to be born, he forced them into shitty lives they never even chose. Half of his 7 or 8 known kids died as kids, the others were fucked up or distanced themselves from him.
