Reporters Say If They Ask About Benghazi, They’ll Lose White House Access

America’s Founding Fathers understood that the only thing that keeps a representative government honest is a free press that polices the government on behalf of the people. They would be shocked and horrified if they knew the state of America’s press today: rather than investigating and policing Obama administration scandals – most notably the bloody debacle in Benghazi — the press deliberately ignores them in order to retain access to the White House.

At CNN, which has gone in thirty years from being a respected, albeit somewhat Left-leaning, news organization to becoming a bottom of the pack hack station, reporters have confessed that they’re afraid to question the White House about Benghazi because Obama’s White House will cut out reporters who actually . . . report.

Mediate quotes one media insider stating that “Access is a very serious consideration when it comes to stories that could adversely impact a show, correspondent, or network’s relationship with the administration, a campaign, or any political leader.” That same anonymous source also told Mediate that “I would suggest it’s not an accident that those who have been given a lot of access to the president have generally been AWOL when it comes to stories that might reflect poorly on him.”

It’s long been known that Hollywood stars only give access to those media outlets that report favorably about them, with the result that there is no honest reporting coming out of Hollywood. It turns out that President Barack Obama has learned a thing or two from his Hollywood buddies and is working hard to stifle a press that already is in the bag for him.

The Obama administration hasn’t stopped with a threat to ignore reporters who dare to ask actual questions. The last few months have revealed that the NSA was bugging the Associated Press, harassing Fox reporter James Rosen, and quite possibly meddling with CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson for daring to investigate the gun running scandal known as Fast and Furious, as well as the Benghazi bloodbath.

The press, which has carried Obama’s water since 2007, is only now discovering that, when you give away your integrity, the one who benefits from your sacrifice won’t thank you – instead, he’ll lose all respect for you and treat you even more badly than before.
