Spectacular Photos of Frozen Lighthouses on Lake Michigan

As you have certainly read unless you have been under a stone (or in Florida) for the last few days, this week it’s going to be incredibly cool across the US. Here in NYC it’ll be well below freezing the tomorrow, but still a whole lot warmer than it’ll be in locations like Minnesota and Northern Dakota, where it’s seemingly going to be something like -50ºF. It’s a serious business, but if nothing else, winter time scenery offer stark and sometimes otherworldly beauty. As such, it seems like a fun time to existing these insane images of freezing lighthouses on Lake Michigan (which, furthermore, is steaming this morning.) They are the work of photography lovers Thomas Zakowski and Tom Gill, and come complimentary of BoredPanda  (note: Gill’s perform also showed up on Huffington Post last year.)
