If you are a Christian then you believe in life after death as a matter of course. Thus, people from the other side clearly communicate sometimes. Also, demons can/could and probably do impersonate them sometimes, but I don't think all the time. It's more likely, all the above. Clearly, NOT all communication with the other side is demonic.
