Has Russia Declared A “No-Float Zone” In Syria?

While brazen psychopaths like Hillary Clinton and warmongers like Marco Rubio call for a No-Fly Zone in Syria, it appears that Russia has declared a “No-Go Zone” of its own. The Russian version, however, consists of a “No-Float Zone” and is located off the coast of Syria.

Has Russia Declared A “No-Float Zone” In Syria

The “No-Float Zone” as Ziad Fadel of Syrian Perspective has labeled it, is focused on the Mediterranean Sea, with ships already within the vicinity of the Mediterranean preparing to meet with those currently based in the Black Sea but who are now heading into the Mediterranean. Both ships and reconnaissance vessels are reportedly prepared to establish a “No-Float Zone” to serve as protection for approximately 140,000 Russian troops that appear to be heading to Syria.

Fadel reports,

Russian warships and reconnaissance vessels are speeding out of the Black Sea into the Mediterranean as I write. The ships will establish a no float zone for any ships trying to interdict the arrival of over 140,000 Russian soldiers at the ports of Tartous and Latakia. Moreover, it appears Russian aircraft are increasing sorties over Syria and have crossed the border into Turkey in pursuit of Erdoghan’s murderous criminals. The decision to increase Russia’s role in the conflict was not made yesterday, as Waleed Mu’allim, Syria’s Foreign Minister, stated in an interview. This was, as I reported, a plan that had been drawn up by General Gerasimov and his assistants years ago. The only impediments were Syria’s obsession with keeping foreign boots off Syrian soil and the assurances from Syrian Army generals that the war would be over by now without foreign intervention. Dr. Assad has made the intelligent and courageous decision to set aside Ba’athist fears of occupation and bring Russia fully into the conflict.

Officially, Russia has not announced the troop movement. However, unofficially, it is appears that troop movements are being prepared. For instance, Sputnik recently reported that Putin has signed an order to draft over 147,000 soldiers into the Russian military.

CNN has also reported that Russia has stepped up its “ground” activity and that it has moved several ground combat weapons and troops which it posits will be used to “back up” Assad’s own ground forces in Western Syria.

With Russian and American planes both flying in the skies above Syria, Fadel’s report suggests that the naval chess pieces are also being set. If Russian troops are indeed deployed to Syria, the American response will definitely be one to watch, particularly since the United States has had personnel operating inside Syria since the beginning of the crisis.

Although no mainstream media outlets have confirmed the reports of the No-Float Zone, it is important to note that Fadel’s information has proven reliable time and time again.

I and most informed Americans are not opposed to the Russian presence and activities in Syria. Vladimir Putin is a most acceptable alternative to the violence, bloodshed and chaos fomented by US operations. Only wars of self-defense or wars authorized by the UN Security Council are legal under international law. The Russians were invited into Syria by the Assad government to help eliminate ISIS, restore law and order and to reduce the steady flow of Syrian refugees. Millions of Iraqi refugees were forced to flee their homes and country because George W. Bush was a man possessed with removing the government of former US close ally Saddam Hussein at all cost. The US presence & activities to overthrow the Assad government are unwanted, illegal and without the support of our former European allies.
