Yang Yi Kui, 55, from Jiangsu region, China, was experiencing dizzy and nausea at the end of a long day of do it yourself home repairs. Seeing something more than just ‘being tired’ was going on, he made the decision to visit the hospital. It was only then that he discovered out that he had a three inches nail driven into his skull.
On December 29, Yi Kui had been doing some decorating in his home. He’d been using an electric cutting tool, and a nail became lodged in the tool and shot out so fast that Yi Kui hardly noticed when the nail entered his head, just beside his left eye, at the speed of a bullet. A very small, superficial wound was all that was left, and he never would have imagined that a nail had gone into his head in the location.
Miraculously, Yi Kui suffered no permanent injuries and is in the hospital, in stable condition, recovering from surgery.
