it's works in my games and I have all the dlcs like their finest hour for letting know when an bomber any aircraft unit finishes engagement tell how many men have being killed or aircraft destroyed

there is a land doctrine that gives you reinforcement chance up by 5-10%
and combat width doesnt have as much to do with it as it does just plain reinforcement chance. there are ministers that help with attack and defend reinforcement chance and the land doctrine. it's in vanilla, but I don't know if it's in ww1 mod

Ben, if you want Trench warfare, play France on the 1914 startdate. (1914 so you cant make your army stronger, so it is more how the modders wanted it) while there is no battles where 30k people die, I have seen 10k in a month in a single battle
