What you really really really need to do is just learn how to work the planes, ie moving planes around, assigning targets, maintaining air superiority…. I don't think you can win with completely ignoring the air mode and going assign all. sorry for being an armchair warrior.
What you need is to play more. The plan is good but you got greedy and not knowing what the game interface supposed to do makes it worse. Also, your history sucks big time. Not knowing history at least a bit on ww2 sounds like a retard to me.

A mixed tank division might be worth considering. That is how the blitzkrieg would have worked with a mix of tank killers and infantry killers in the same division.

I hope you'll realize eventually that the close support aircraft are Stuka dive bombers, which are worth exactly squat against enemy fighters, you actually have to protect them with your own fighters, but they are worth their weight in gold 10 fold to attacking troops on the ground. Still, they can't operate at full effectiveness without local air superiority, or at least air parity.
