Im Jewish and this i have to say..after watching this video.. I am a WWII historian. I have read many books, watched movies, and played games on all aspects of the war…European Theater, Pacific Theater, North Africa, Air War, Naval War, the Japanese Empire and of course…The Third Reich. But i must say this…if i was living in Germany at this point of time…where Germany was beaten, bankrupt and defeated after WWI, and i was listening to this man…i would probably want to get fitted for an SS uniform also. Yes…Hitler was pure evil and a megalomaniac…one of the worst mass murderers in history along with Stalin. But yet…he was genius, cunning and strong willed. He took over a country by the power of his voice and his words. Even though what he did to the Jews, Poles, Russians, and all other enemies of the Reich was abominable and i hope he is still shouting at the Devil in a very hot place today…i still have to appreciate the power of his mind and voice where at one time, all of Germany stood behind him and was ready to travel into Hell itself to defend the Fatherland, and to take by force of arms, the Lebensraum, he so greatly desired. Don't get me wrong…I DO NOT CONDONE ONE SINGLE ACT OF EVIL, MURDER AND AGGRESSION THIS A**HOLE DID AND HE GOT WHAT HE DESERVED IN THE END. Because of this man, we have racism of other kinds in the world, and there are people who STILL believe in everything he said and they still wear uniforms of the SS today. But i have learned that in order to defeat evil, you must understand evil and study evil…so that one day…GOOD will finally come and peace, love and friendship will abound throughout this world of ours. So that holocausts of World War II, the wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the atrocities of 9/11, and more recently, the murder of the nightclub victims in Orlando, and the officers in Dallas, who were murdered in the line of duty protecting the innocent, will no longer be a part of our planet. It is a dream I have, i know. But sometimes…dreams do come true.
What I see is a deluded socialist, a nationalist marching his people to an unprecedented catastrophe. Speaking with conviction and being right are not the same thing.
May things be cleared up for everyone to see the truth. Hitler was a genius of a leader, however full of hate he was. His actions against the jews are condemnable and immoral, but he was a victim of the hateful spirit around him, as much as he was a victimizer. Hitler indeed may have desired the best for his people which he loved above all, but he forgot the value of human life outside of his chosen race. He embraced fanatism, war and violence; his close collaborators were full of hatred themselves. Those were his main flaws. But let's not forget he was formed in war. He suffered the war as much as he suffered frustration, depression and despise for life. All of this forged his hatred, his hardened spirit, and his racial positions. However flawed they are, they were a result of his experience, caused by the influence of hard times on his persona. May the world never forget, so that no natural leaders are ever prey of hatred, and so that no people ever elect hate over love. Although that's just a manner of simplifying. He loved his people, and he hated the rest. Love attracted germans, hatred attracted his enemies. The world needs leaders and heroes, measured and tempered by a serene spirit, not by the decay of war, the severity of frustration.
