Being a housewife for your entire adult life is not a bad choice (to each their own), but some women as myself have a calling to be both in the workforce and to be a mother. There are numerous women who have 9-5 jobs while making sure they love, feed, and instruct their children on morals and responsibilities.
Raising a family requires BOTH a mother and a father. My mom and dad shared housework equally and have been happily married for 25+ years. Many people believe in the outdated concept that housework should only be tended to by women. This song's message is for men to not take advantage of women and view them merely as housemaids and pleasure toys.
