I don't think he's saying he sold out. He said we all have to deal with temptation. That doesn't mean we automatically give in to it. The bible was explicit about how Jesus was tempted by satan, but it was to show the struggle that man had to go through. Kendrick's albums are like that. They convey the constant struggles that many people face on a daily basis.
