@aseeker2010 Deforestation only occurs because hemp is illegal. Hemp fiber is superior.
Only one in denial keeps talking about oil being finite and how we use more than we consume, WHILE IGNORING THE FUNDAMENTAL REASON WHY. Because hemp is illegal. Hemp is superior oil, everything made from toxic oil can be made from non-toxic hemp oil. Hemp ethanol is MUCH less energy intensive compared to the alternatives and yields 6-10 times more than corn ethanol (they grow LOTS of corn for ethanol)
You are a crappy salesman! You are in it for you! FUCK YOU AND FIND ME IF YOU CAN! I will give you a hint! I live in West Palm Beach a bit West of 95 off Forest Hill Blvd. You are a JOKE! A HUGE JOKE!
John
Hemp may indeed provide a tenable solution…but one thing you are forgetting is that IT TAKES ENERGY TO MAKE ENERGY. Where can I find reliable/honest figures reporting how much energy input is required for a given unit of energy output for hemp ethanol?
Furthermore, peak oil is a misnomer. What should be said is cheap/easy to extract oil has peaked, because it has, and if you deny that, you are simply ignoring reality.
@JHypers The first diesel fuel was made from oil pressed from hemp seeds. It’s non-toxic, a nitrogen fixer, grows well nearly everywhere, a renewable resource, makes food, fuel, paper, rope, medicine, cosmetics, plastic, housing and much more.
the efficiency of converting a plant to ethanol is based on the celluse content (Hemp is superior about 77% celluse) new techniques harvest 1800 gallons of ethanol without hemp, 100 barrels of oil per acre with hemp, it takes MINIMAL energy to create!
Rudolph Diesel who made the diesel engine to run on hemp fuel was found swimming with the fishes! Wide use of Rudolf Diesel’s engine would have made petroleum-based fuel obsolete. The idea was destroyed by marijuana prohibition after Rudolf Diesel’s death.
Low THC hemp plants produce less seed and ethanol per acre compared to other strains. Some varieties mature in 60-90 days. Hemp is lot less energy intensive! They outlawed the superior resource decades ag legally ALLOWED collapse to happen.
Our number one need is oxygen. Hemp is pretty much the fastest growing plant in the world creating oxygen and breathing in CO2. Some strains can reach 20 feet! We need to switch fuels. Alcohol and hemp seed oil still burn oxygen, but create it while they are growing. Gasoline does not.
In the 1930′s, hemp was stigmatized in a smear campaign by the petroleum, tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceutical, paper industries to insure against the competition of hemp fuel and safe, non-addicting and biodegradable products. The blind prejudice remains. If we and the other animals on the planet are to survive, we must see through this ignorance and correct the problem.
Hemp would solve world hunger and most of the world problems like the energy crisis, deforestation, disease, repair our soils
I'll tell you why we're not allowed to legalize Marijuana to save ourselves from the oil crisis… it's because it's too easy. If we could all grow marijuana and make oil for fuel, then nobody could get rich from it.
Hemp just wont cut it. Hemp is a plant is it not? Planets require water to grow and they also need land to grow on. Hemp will never replace a significant aomunt of energy because there isnt enough land space or avalible water to plug the energy short fall required to replace the reduction in cheap oil.
One barrel of oil contains as much energy of about 25 men. How much energy do you think you can get from one stalk of hemp?? Dude do some maths. No amount of human ingenuity can overturn physics
@Wallstrcrash2012 yeah do some math. 1800 gallons of ethanol per acre, and times it by 1/4 the arable land in the USA. THAT DOES NOT EVEN INCLUDE THE WASTE LAND THAT COULD BE CONVERTED TO GROW HEMP FUEL. Hemp fuel is MUCH LESS energy intensive compared to alternatives hemp harvests up to 10 times MORE THAN CORN ETHANOL. EXISTING CORPORATE STRUCTURE CONTINUES TO MAKE MASS PROFIT SELLING POISON CORN ETHANOL AND POISON GASOLINE
WHILE FRAUDS SELL THE IDEA OF PEAK OIL
@Wallstrcrash2012 there is a lot energy WASTED EVERY DAY BECAUSE NOTHING IS LOCAL. WHEN AMERICA MAKES STUFF AT HOME IT USES A LOT LESS ENERGY. HAS CORPORATE PROPAGANDA DUMBED ADULTS DOWN LIKE CHILDREN?

Thanks for the response mate. Don't want to have an argument about hemp but what you sent me although informative doesn't seem to included any figures about pound for pound energy for that of hemp in relation to that of oil. Maybe you could tell me because I don't know it but I can hazard a guess.
An engine that runs on hemp is a great invention and have no illusions that he probably was bumped off. But it still doesn't explain were the space is going to come from to grow all th
To grow hemp here in the Uk to plug a supply gap of cheap oil will take most of the little space we have. So growing locally is going to be a problem is,nt. it? Specially since our population is rising and new housing needs to be built.
@Wallstrcrash2012 Grow on rooftops, grow indoors. UK is small, population keeps increasing and peoples creativity keep getting suppressed.
There are no lack of solutions, just lack of creativity. You would be surprised how much seed per acre hemp with THC can harvest, not much land could feed everyone in the UK with plenty left over for other food crops. Hemp seed is a superior food source
im not saying it wont be a challenge for the UK, use your wits. Artificial islands were made in dubai
Hey Yellowecotec, the reason collapsenet doesn't take you seriously is probably that you cling to a "solution" that is delusional and described as such in Ruppert's books. They aren't against sustainablity, they, other than you, just acknowledge the fact that it's too late to try any large-scale technological fixes. Peak Oil is very real, and only fools doubt that. Also, quit the weed, it blurs your mind.
Sorry, one more: You have to keep in mind that the Powers That Be aren't interested in a change of the system. All change must come from indiciduals, and that rules out anything beyond local micro-ecnomies. We won't mine asteroids. They won't let us.
you are an ignorant disinfo agent. of course it does help there is no maybe or what if. your fucked and why people are suffering and dying you stupid disinfo agent math proves peak oil wrong
1800 gallons of hemp ethanol per acre=42 barrels (42 gallons in a barrel)
1 barrel of ethanol=1 barrel of oil
half of the arable land in USA 235 million acres
235,000,000 x 42 = 9,870,000,000 barrels
USA consumes ~ 7,008,900,000 barrels every year
i'm in no way a ruppert sympathizer, but you have to look at the fact that oil is not cheaper to produce as it once was. this is another way of interpreting peak oil, since we are beyond the peak of maximum return on investment versus production.

So how much energy does 1800 gallons of ethanol give you in relation to 1800 gallons of oil?
Plus can ethanol be used to lubricate components in engines and machines?
