Despite the massive, systemic failures with Obamacare, her husband’s signature piece of legislation, First Lady Michelle Obama attempted to swindle even more money out of the Democratic base blaming it all on Republicans in a speech to the Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington on October 15.
President Obama spent four years lying to the country about Obamacare, telling the country that we all could keep our insurance and our doctors if we liked them. But he knew darn well that his legislation was changing the law making almost all previous insurance plans actually illegal in the new era of emperor Obama. Nearly everyone’s insurance became illegal for insurers to offer once his Obamacare law passed, so naturally everyone is losing their insurance whether they might want to keep it or not.
But Michelle didn’t mention any of this in her comments to the conference. In fact, she blamed all her husband’s lies and massive failures on Republicans then urged her audience to send her more money for her failed Democrat Party.
During her comments, Obama said, “So when a small group of folks in Congress shuts down our government to try to shut down Obamacare, and we watch as our President stands strong, that’s not just some political fight in Washington.”
Of course, it wasn’t “some folks”–and by that she means Republicans–that wanted to “shut down government.” It was her husband that shut down government by refusing to come to the table and negotiate (like all other presidents have in similar situations) with the Republicans who have been elected by the nation to control the House of Representatives.
Michelle Obama went on to plead for more campaign money despite that her husband has been the biggest waster of money in America history with trillions thrown away to little effect–except to help enrich his friends in big business and the unions.
“So if you’re not happy about what you’ve seen in Congress lately,” Obama whined, “if you don’t like seeing folks in state government trying to undermine Obamacare or chip away at women’s rights and women’s health, then I urge you — let’s not just sit around feeling angry or helpless or hopeless, especially not women. Because there is something that all of you can do right now today to make a huge difference: You can write a check. That’s what we need you to do right now. We need you to write a big old check. Write the biggest check you can possibly write.”
Once again, we get the big Democrat lie. There is no one, no one, in the GOP that wants to “chip away at women’s rights and women’s health.” Michelle Obama is a liar. There I said it.
