I just have to ask Vargas and her family one question, how stupid can you be? Seriously, you know you are here illegally and they are enforcing immigration laws. Yet, you step out in public and announce on television that you are an illegal. Now the family is all upset that they are being deported, but what did they think would happen?
These people have no rational argument why the US should make exceptions to allow them citizenship or permanent residence over legitimate applicants. For example, I tried for several years to get permanent residence in the US while I worked there with a temporary visa – and that's with a PhD in neuroscience. In the end, I gave up and moved to Canada. So, what gives her and her family the right to buck the policies of another country? The fact that they're Argentinian and have been ducking US immigration authorities for years? Sheesh!
