On February 5, 2012, President Obama invoked the NDAA, which authorizes the use of military force, and issues an executive order declaring the “threat” of Iran a National Emergency. The video below shows this issuance of President Obama executive order which declares Iran’s threat to cut off oil supplies a national emergency.
The executive order directs all government agencies to respond immediately to the threat. It further invokes the authority of the 2012 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) which gives the President the power to launch military action against any nation without the approval of Congress. Ironically, the State of Emergency order also accuses the Iranian central bank of deceptive banking practices.

The NDAA does not declare any new National Emergency; it builds on the Emergency declared by Clinton in 1995 regarding a suspension of US funds and contracts for oil ventures in Iran. That Order may or may not have anything to do with a threat to cut off oil supplies, but if it did, it was a threat made 17 years ago. Obama’s order does not define any new threat from Iran, aside from money laundering and shady banking practices (now they have a problem with sketchy banking!). Additionally, the only sections of the NDAA that this Order invokes are in Sections 1245 which only talk about setting up sanctions on Iran. The Order, as written does NOT invoke or authorize any military actions towards Iran. They haven’t gotten to that point…yet. Though we are certainly headed in that direction. It’s important to get the facts right lest you spread disinformation that makes it much easier for the media to portray us political dissidents as uniformed whack-jobs. Think critically and never believe everything you read on the internet. You gotta judge your sources harshly.

Only Congress can “declare” war. The President has the authority to initiate military action, under certain circumstances, for 60 days, with a possible extension of 30 days. Of course, an air war, in conjunction with our allies in NATO, Israel, and even some Arab states, to destroy their nuclear and ballistic missile facilities, and their naval forces which threaten to close the Strait of Hormuz, would take somewhat less time.
Well foks, those millions in AIPAC ‘bribes’have gone to Obama’s already swollen head! Talk about a ‘hot wired’ low rider.
