Obamacare Provision: “Forced” Home Inspections

Joshua Cook

“Clearly, any family may be visited by federally paid agents for almost any reason.” According to an Obamacare provision millions of Americans will be targeted.

Obamacare Provision “Forced” Home Inspections

The Health and Human Services’ website states that your family will be targeted if you fall under the “high-risk” categories below:

  • Families where mom is not yet 21.
  • Families where someone is a tobacco user.
  • Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities.
  • Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forces who have had multiple deployments outside the United States.

There is no reference to Medicaid being the determinant for a family to be “eligible.”

In 2011, the HHS announced $224 million will be given to support evidence-based home visiting programs to “help parents and children.” Individuals from the state will implement these leveraging strategies to “enhance program sustainability.”

Constitutional attorney and author Kent Masterson Brown states,

“This is not a “voluntary” program. The eligible entity receiving the grant for performing the home visits is to identify the individuals to be visited and intervene so as to meet the improvement benchmarks. A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to “intervention” in “school readiness” and “social-emotional developmental indicators.” A farm family may be subject to “intervention” in order to “prevent child injuries.” The sky is the limit.

Although the Obama administration would claim the provision applies only to Medicaid families, the new statute, by its own definition, has no such limitation. Intervention may be with any family for any reason. It may also result in the child or children being required to go to certain schools or taking certain medications and vaccines and even having more limited – or no – interaction with parents. The federal government will now set the standards for raising children and will enforce them by home visits.”

Part of the program will require massive data collecting of private information including all sources of income and the amount gathered from each source.

A manual called Child Neglect: A Guide for Prevention, Assessment, and Intervention includes firearms as potential safety hazard and will require inspectors to verify safety compliance and record each inspection into a database.

Last session South Carolina Rep. Bill Chumley introduced a bill, H.3101 that would nullify certain provisions of Obamacare. The bill would give the state attorney general the authority to authorize law enforcement to arrest federal agents for trespassing. It would make forced home inspections under Obamacare illegal in South Carolina. It passed in the House but died in the senate.

Kent Brown and Rep. Rick Quinn discuss “forced” home inspections under Obamacare in the video below.

I live in a country that has universal healthcare. The only provision that our medical law requires is that a newborn after going to its parents home be visited within the following few weeks to ensure that the new parents know how to care for the baby. It happened to us and we were comforted by the knowledge imparted to us by the caregiver that we were doing everything correctly!

Archie – Identify this wonderful utopia you live in that gives you birth to grave entitlements. Secondly, pray tell who pays for all those benefits and what is the top bracket of your taxes? Moral of this story folks is, there are no “free lunches” out there and someone always has to pay.

I am somehow torn between pros and cons with this story. If the government is giving me a free pass but shows me the conditions are such, you take it or you don’t. The problems with the wrong doings of citizens that cost a lot of money to the gov. The innocent usually pays for the culprit. If I have nothing to hide I don’t mine gov. doing the job they need to do to save the money (remember this all has to do with increasing cost prevention). But, telling me what school my children need to go is a far cry, unless they are going to make ten different kinds of school around my house.

the congress shall make no law, abridging the rights of the people, privacy is one of them ,and no soldier shall be billeted in any home , is another. The Constitution can not be overruled without destroying the country because the Constitution and bill of rights is this country.

  4. Bob S., 5 War, and I. Anybody else? Fight or flee. I choose to fight. Fro-B and his jew handlers can kiss my ass.

By the way, the “Blues Brothers” attire was based on orthodox jew clothes. Good choice of words there. They are the real enemy and the controllers.

While you may be an Israel hater, I am an Israel supporter. That said, I had no intention of bringing religon into the discussion. Perhaps, it would have been beter had I used the term “Men in Black” as opposed to the “Blues Brothers.”

Any Federal Agents show up at my house, they had better have warrants, or they will not get past the sidewalk. If they insist, they will meet my two brothers, Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. End of story.

    • doesntmatter says:

that’s what the citizens in boston said…until federal agents caught them in their robes eating breakfast with their families….mr smith and mr wesson didn’t even have a chance…

      • Ltpar says:

Boston evacuation based on a terrorist threat emergency is a little different that the “Blues Brothers” showing up on your doorstep for a search. Hopefully, the citizens of Boston learned a lesson from their experience and will be more alert in the future. At my house, the brothers never sleep.

        • doesntmatter says:

i wouldn’t say all that….what it actually was, was a trial run to see how citizens in general would react…we see what the complacent acceptable reaction was. hopefully your whole neighborhood would follow suit with your decision, otherwise you will be used as an example. now you may say “well I would rather be knocked down standing for a cause”, and so be it…just know that is more than likely to be your last statement, than “yea I stood up for my rights, and now we have our country back”.

          • Ltpar says:

Hopefully I am wrong, but I have a gut feeling that we may be forced to put actions where our words are today. Semper Fidelis and see you in the trenches.

      • Bob Spittler says:

Oh, did they now? Is that what they said? Since when in recent decades has Massachusetts become such a full fledged Second Amendment State like Arizona, Florida or Texas? Aren’t those “liberal” Bean Towners the ones who put Forget-the-dead-vote-Ted in as their “representative” in the senate? The Boston of today is whole parsecs removed from the Boston of Tea Party lore.

    • Bob Spittler says:

Best comment on here….live free bro’ and MOLON LABE

      • doesntmatter says:

the casual “live free bro” saying has run its course….while you guys were chanting that to each other, our rights were being compromised….now it sounds like empty talk when you say it, smh. see how well supposedly “living free bro” has worked out for us?? sounded good, but had no benefit at all, cause we are not free BY ANY MEANS! -_-….sad cases.

        • Bob Spittler says:

First of all “doesn’t”, the remark was far from casual, and whether you like it or not, there are people who are free in this country in spite of O-Dark-Zero and his khaki lackeys and you aren’t showing me jack squat as far as being negative…I’ve got you beat by nautical miles, but I’m still in the fight, it goes on every god damned day and I’ve been there and back. So if you want to go full throttle fatalistic, just lie down and put a round through your head and save them the time and ammo or flee the country, go ahead. But don’t try to run us down that still have fight in us, just get the Hell out of the way.

          • doesntmatter says:

o_o….try to run you down?? no no, now THATS negative talk lol…I would like to think what im doing is getting you to use your common sense that seems to have drastically declined o_o. you know, its kind of funny how you are now talking all this big talk, but while things were happening that got us where we are, there were only crickets heard….BUT its to be expected as the complacent american way. you sound like a typical one, talk loud and proud when all hell has ALREADY broken loose…then you let the 2 or 3 other ppl that chime in with you boost your head up into thinking you all actually have a chance going against the beast that has turned the WORLD upside down.

break out of your box deliberately created by your gov, and LOOK AROUND…this country isn’t the only country on the earth, and you cant even keep IT in check…wtf do you think, the rest of the world doesn’t matter or doesn’t affect YOUR little corner?? you think standing at your door with a rifle when the feds come is going to bring peace to your country and its going to spread to the rest of the world or something??? GTFOH -_-

keep dreaming big, that’s what you’ve been raised to do in this place….and your dreams will continue to be shattered as everyone elses (including the wealthy) has been and will be. *shrugs*…but don’t tell me I need to leave or lay down and roll over…just because I know and accept there will be no peace here, has not been any peace here, and is definitely not any now, does not mean im not a fighter…I just know when im up against something bigger than me, and I respect that as reality and not a fantasy and understand neither I nor anyone around me is a super hero. how about you???

  6. doesntmatter says:

let the games continue….cause they began a long time ago. its obvious bamaboy is being protected by a higher entity, because clearly he would be mere history otherwise -_-.

    • Bob Spittler says:

And he will be mere but typically ugly latter day American history just like JFK if he doesn’t continue to be the perfect sock puppet for the 300…

  7. doc usmc says:

Interesting the specified the military end. Come on in boys, I got something for you……Lets start this dance …get it over with and go on……..

  8. 5 War Veteran says:

Forced home inspections? Good luck with that.
My home is my castle and we have castle doctrine. Force your way into my home and it as simple as choosing to be shot. I say NO! You come in without permission, you get reminded of what privacy is all about. I did not hire government to make rules that go against my basic freedoms and I sure as Hell do not give “Implied Consent” to anyone.

    Don’t even think about it.
