WWII veterans rammed with batons as they protest peacefully
Shocking video shows hyped-up riot police hitting and shoving elderly war veterans with batons at a peaceful protest outside the White House.
One officer can be seen screaming at the top of his lungs while brandishing his baton towards the peaceful veterans.

Earlier today, the veterans tore down the barricades blocking access to outdoor war memorials, such as the National World War II Memorial and the Marine Corps War Memorial.
They then carried the barricades and stacked them in front of the White House.
The Obama administration purposely decided to erect the barricades to keep the public from visiting war memorials during the government shutdown.
These war memorials, such as the WWII memorial, are outdoor architectural structures in a park with no official entrance.
It took focused effort, under direction by the Obama administration, to block access to these memorials.
An anonymous park service official told the Washington Times that they had been ordered to “make life as difficult for people as we can” during the government shutdown.
Other senior citizens have been terrorized by federal agents during the shutdown. At the Yellowstone National Park last week, feds aggressively ordered elderly tourists to stay inside a hotel under armed guard.

I watched this from a few angles and you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Yes the police made a poor choice but they DID NOT start any real trouble and some of them were reasonably damned afraid.
A taser was drawn and it was also put away. If it would have been used it would have perpetuated a disaster. All police need to realize that Veterans are NOT THE ENEMY.
Oh and to add, ANY Police force that turns on veterans will bring the HOLY HELL of military Ire down on their heads.
Obama has caused problems for Veterans he will soon learn the folly of all of his decisions. Any one who supported those decisions will learn as well. This is not up for discussion. It will not be a political game of concession and give and take. The most difficult consideration will be whether or not to take individual prisoners.
I am sure we will give them all the consideration their Elite masters have given us.
So what does this tell all you men and women that gave your time and lives to “fight for freedom and democracy”? All you were doing was empowering the State to lord over you. Your fighting has yet to begin.
We keep hearing that one side or the other dictated these restrictions. The media needs to do some research, following the chains of command, to see who really is driving this insanity. We may be dealing with individual employees or mid level managers, as in the IRS situation. It may not be coming from political leaders, but if it is they should have the courage to own it.
