Assad was voted in by his people in a free and democratic election and he got over 70% of the vote. Same deal with Gadaffi who got over 90% of the votes. When Gadaffi was running Libya there was zero homelessness, interest free loans, the state paid half of the cost of a new car, paid $7000 to parents who had a child and also gave newly weds $50,000 towards their first home. Also free education for all and the best students sent to the best universities of the world, all paid for by the state, without the need to repay anything once the student finishes studies. Also free medical care for all and if Libyans couldn't find the medical care they needed in Libya, the state paid for the person to go anywhere in the world to get the medical care they need. Now compare that to how you in America are treated
