This Brian Carr guy seems to be more of a hindrance than help to any resolution of the case. After watching this vid, the most blaring question on my mind is: What would be the financial impact be to Carr if this case were solved?
This is just speculation on my part but I tend to wonder if Dr. Patrick S. O'Reilly could be her killer. Whoever killed her was a sexual sadist, which O'Reilly was, and something I thought was strange for this type of murder was that there were no signs of intercourse. (though it's important to consider her body had been washed thoroughly) Later when reading about O'Reilly he just seemed to fit the profile and I learned he had been arrested for assaulting his secretary, holding her at gun point and the police file stated "taking his secretary to a motel and sadistically beating her almost to death apparently for no other reason than to satisfy his sexual desires without intercourse". There are other things that make me think about him as strong suspect but who knows. He knew Mark Hansen which links him to Short but there has never been any hard evidence linking him to the murder as far as I know. Both suspects mentioned in this documentary are still intriguing.
I think it cannot be solved until a clear motive from a a suspect is found. It's clear that that dr Walter fella possibly known her sister so as to weather he knew her is hard to prove because they're is no motive. Same goes with Dr Hodel. Ms Short wanted to be an actress the Franklin house if it was used as an Hollywood elite gathering party place is unknown and so no motivation for Hodel to kill. Motives need to found.
Did anyone see the movie with Josh Harnett, Scarlet Johansen, and Hilary Swank ? I wonder if that was total fiction, nonfiction ,or a little of both. Was it publicized as "the true story"? Or fiction ? Or, my pet peeve: "based on the true story"? I thought the movie was quite interesting.Any replies or comments?
they know where the envelopes are, that guy with glasses is a wheelbase, i do not trust him, his eye are shifty while talking about the envelopes. Hodel is telling truth, but it goes very deep, very deep indeed, hotels, underground tunnels, police , political ppl, goes on and on. Considering murder has no statute of limitations I found it odd the detective was so uninterested!!
