I wasn't feeling this one. Too much fluff. Just couldn't get into it. Then religion showed up and completely ruined whatever tiny bit of potential it had left.

You're so close and yet so far. The angels above the earth were human. because they'd been to space and lived in space, they were considered heroes (and i still feel they are heroes and heroines). There are no demons. Demeaning people is not allowed in those days. The conflict of purity at that time was a great one. Because there were so few people, the humans at the time, were making in vitro babies and having the girls give birth to children that were not their own. That they did not want them, they did not want to raise them, and those that would raise for the people, of people who did not make it to Eden, often had the children taken from them. That the men did not want other boys kids to come out of their wife. That a huge conflict erupted that made a new rule; the couple had to be permitted to have their own children before they did duty by the garden. And that also, that they wanted to allow the girls to volunteer or not, they couldn't for several generations.
Lucy is a completely different argument. After years in space, she took the leap of faith and reclaimed the earth for the people. It took several attempts because the planet was too hot to live on. That the people in space were a remnant of those that survived a great destruction of the earth. That they worked on collecting the hot orange sand and eventually had a spot cold enough to work from (At Landing) and from there planted the great apple tree and from there the garden of Eating (Eden or Etin or Eten).
This movie just continues to show how massively confused you are. Over and over again I hear plain jibberish out of you. It makes me cry that you hate your own ancestors. True heroes to us all.
The first 5/6 of this movie you could have covered in ten minutes or less, then this doffus priest is beyond all belief. You'd do the world a favor if you just admit you don't know and delete all this crap. Of course, then I'd have nothing to troll late at night, but I might be all the happier for it.
theres no ACTUAL imperical evidence at all for life outside earth or anything supernatural. we as people find patterns where none exist. we are pattern seeking mammals and when we dont understand the physical reason for something we would rather invoke the supernatural than simply say i dont know but im going to find out through a scientific rational process. its much easier and lazier to say god did it or its aliens instead of doing the research and the work to find the actual reason for seemingly supernatural phenomenon
