+The Vigilant Christian By your logic, shouldn't you consider that your interpretation of the word of god might be wrong?
Some say that the belief of the bible in physical terms is blasphemous. Because the bible is allegory for a psychological process of man becoming god (Jesus Christ is the imagination, the cross is the physical human body.) Scripture shows that Satan is the symbolic personification of doubt (masked as reason). Alternatively, this implies that Satan is the symbolic state of mind (perspective) where the individual has faith in something external. Whereas the latter has faith in themselves. If you don't believe in yourself, you don't believe in god.
To be fair to him, you could say that a 'man of God' is one who spreads God's word-i.e. a minister, preacher, disciple, evangelist; whatever you'd want to call one who did God's work. He is saying that he is not putting himself at that level as a 'man of God' who spreads God's word because that isn't true and he wouldn't presume to put himself in that category or on that level. He could be a Christian but not a 'man of God.' If he had answered 'Yes, I'm a man of God' people might have started saying "when did we ever hear Morgan Freeman spreading God's word?" and he would have come across as a liar or hypocrite of some sort. I don't know if he's involved in anything Satanic or the Illuminati or whatever-it's hard to know with celebrities. However, I wouldn't say he's some devil worshiping Satanist who denies the Christian God to worship some other evil God-he is just clarifying that he never said he was a 'man of God' by his definition of it, which to many people is one who spreads God's word.
I thank god he blessed me with wisdom, you have to always be able too understand both sides of an argument. Christianity is about 5000 years old while we have been around for your over 250,000 years. Over 2.5 million people die everyday, the majority of them innocent/average people who did not deserve too die the way they did. The "battle" between good and evil is more like an ass whooping. If we are gods people then why do we suffer immense amounts of pain. Dont get me wrong you would be a fool to believe this is all coincidence, but it goes way deeper than being Christian, Muslim, Jewish etc. Because the only thing that determines that is the country/culture you grew up in. Majority of the world is not Christian, billions of innocent people are going to perish of ETERNITY because there country didn't throw a bible in their hand???

Christianity is not THE ANSWER, no one religion is, no cult like tendencies will ever discover the answers to the mysteries of our existence and our universe. When you say the "true god", the more you say it doesn't make it absolute, that's true nonsense, you didn't warn anyone unless they are also a mindless puppet like yourself sir…shameful to spread your own bullshit in a world already filled with too much of it…I wish there was enough time to waste on trying to at least advance your understanding of the world you see and the world you can not see, but alas some people are a lost cause when it comes to intellectual evolution, spiritual enlightenment, and actualization of the truth within ourselves that can be found through you guessed it…reading, not watching the shit you constantly watch on tv with that stupid cat of yours, at least spare your cat of your damning doctrines and false beliefs of the absolute…if there is a God out there, then it will shut you the fuck up when you die because upon death you will realize the meaning of your life, if not everyone else's. Regardless of what people believe, it is in our nature, and our right to take all of the external and internal input of information, process all of it, integrate and filter out the obvious nonsense, and then come out of the initialization of data as a brighter, more cunning, and an overall better human being with the understanding of not just ONE religion, one belief, but many, for a more well rounded and more "God" like person. Cause what is God in every religion? Immortal. What if God was meant to be disguised as a never ending idea of immortality when in fact it was all a façade to deter us, its creation, from the truth that we are existential of God, our mortality makes us immortal in a sense that we may never know our fate after death, and if such fate exists only we may ever come to know what that is.
PS. If you were born into another culture, or in another time, would you still be the Vigilante Christian? Or would you possibly be the Stoned Buddhist? Or the Irrational Hindu, the Jolly Muslim, the Comedic Jew…you wouldn't know would you? Because all you have is the belief you were given and tampered with to feel as if they are your own. Well my uneducated friend, best of luck to you and all your endeavors I hope you seek enlightenment outside of your confined space.
God- How about I make a universe as a representation of my infinite power, create a species similar to me(big ego and self indulged), give them free will and the drive to learn as much as they can in their "mortal" lives, but here's the catch…only one, and I'll call it religion you know, cause I fucking can, YHWHAHAHAHA(Gods laugh), will be the true religion, and if they don't follow that one religion then fuck it they aren't cool enough to be like me one day, even though I made them, and another thing I can be a constant paradox just because being illogical was my talent in god school…what you think?

Freeman didn't claim that he was a believer in Satan. All the man said was that he wasn't a "man of God," a term generally used to mean a man of the cloth, an ordained minister. In that sense, I'm not a man of God, either; however, I love God, I'm a Christian, and I have faith. Please don't be so eager to jump to conclusions and find a devil behind every tree and under every rock. I get that you're a Christian, and Christians don't need National Geographic to teach them about their religion. That, by the way, wasn't the purpose this show; it was meant to provide a brief look a the history of religion and religious thought. Is your own faith so weak, or do you suppose that the faith of your audience is so weak, that a program like this is threatening to you? Are you so afraid to think?
