I believe God really expected humanity to come together and fight all this evil. People forget that God helps those who help themselves. In the Old Testament, when different nations were warring over territories God ALWAYS backed the underdog. God is sitting back and waiting to see when the hell we, humanity, is going to say enough is enough and come together. Yes it's true God can step in any time, but that is not how He works. It's my personal opinion that Christians were/are SUPPOSED to read the word, grow in strength and fight against all this evil. Instead we have chosen to be "safe" and sing & sit on pews. Worship is about giving praise and reverence and Christianity is about standing up against opposition and sacrifice. Christ did not come down here and sit down, he served the people. Like you said nothing is going to change until people come together on one accord. It can be 100 people that stand up,if we are consistant and show God we are willing to revolutionize He will bless us to be victorious. I guess enough people aren't pissed off yet.
