   Brilliant.

   And that ideology of considering their own poor subjects as sub-human, was the ideology of Feudalism (which was little better than slavery).

   And what was the ruling Party, the ruling cadre of this Feudal ideology?
   Roman Catholicism.

   Such that, the capitalist revolution against Feudalism took the ideological form of Protestantism against Roman Catholicism.

   The first successful revolution of that type? When the Netherlands freed themselves from Catholic Spain's domination c.1600.
