it was the bbc's reporting (or lack of it, rather it was spun to say the u.n.'s investigators were denied access to key evidence) on Carla del ponte's report which woke me up to the possibility that the bbc was not as balanced, and subjective as I had been led to believe. "a bunch of liberal mouthpieces" is how many have described the bbc to me. apparently they are not quite as subjective, and balanced … cause del ponte states the evidence suggests that assad's forces did not use chemical weapons. when attempts were made to investigate possible sites of origin, they were shot at by the "moderate" opposition.
this irregularity in the bbc's reporting inspired me to look deeper.
