whoever thought war was anything BUT hell o_o???????? these guys just forced ppl to open their eyes to the realities of firsthand experience…it was hell before they got involved, it is still hell although they are no longer out there. humans have innate feelings to care about one another, no matter the race age or sex…soldiers are brainwashed to go against that grain, which is one of the strongest grains for a human being to go against. then they actually take lives on account of “whatever reason for that particular war is at that time”…youd be thrown completely off mentally as well, for the rest of your life. and just because theres not a slew of vets coming out saying ” oooh oooh, me too, I feel that way too!!”, doesn’t mean each and everyone does not feel that way, or at least similar…if theyre human.
When law enforcement (?) does this same thing in America, it is excused a “appropriate” behavior. Many innocent victims are threatened and homes destroyed because they are at the wrong home. The police are acting like these guys in Afghanistan. These guys at least had some justification. The police have none.
I don’t know where you live…but that doesn’t happen; where I live. I, literally, could not get on jury duty because after being in the same town for 26 yrs, I have watched our police officers deal with the pubic. I bragged on them when interviewed for Jury Duty…so I wasn’t selected.
