Who is buying companies that manufacture firearms?
Confirmed… Marlin Firearms is already closing it’s doors!Even if you do not own a gun, you need to know this.This needs to be spread to all gun owners and sportsman.We cannot rely on the media to report on this major issue (One line from the Cerberus Capital Management information at Wikipedia:)
- Firearms – Acquired Bushmaster Firearms, Inc., from Windham, Mainenative Dick Dyke for an undisclosed sum in April 2006, and purchased Remington Armsin April 2007. Under Cerberus direction, Bushmaster Firearms acquired Cobb Manufacturing, a well-respected manufacturer of large-caliber tactical rifles in August 2007.
- Cerberus also acquired DPMS Panther ArmsDecember 14, 2007.[29][30] Remington Arms acquired Marlin Firearms in January 2008.[31][32] In October 2009, Remington Military products acquired silencer manufacturer Advanced Armament Corporation.[33] These companies were combined into the Freedom Group.
For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group
has been buying-up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of
the companies are Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS,
Dakota Arms and H&R. Some people worry that this Freedom
Group is going to control most (if not all) of the firearms companies
in the United States. If you control the manufacturers, you can
decide to stop selling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns!
This will keep Obama, et al from trashing the 2nd amendment – think about that!
If you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is
owned by a company called Cerberus Capital Management.

Highly unlikely scenario. This fanatic belief that every person in the country should be able to own a firearm belies any rational consequence. With about 8 million people in the U.S. with mental problems it is no wonder that there are wholesale slayings in schools, gangs and thugs popping off people of every stripe, shootings at elected officials (maybe some deserve it?) , domestic mayhem that result in killing, on and on. This writer is of the firm belief that the issuance of firearms should be carefully controlled. Any person with a history of mental problems should be denied; any person with a criminal record should be denied; anyone with a record of violent behavior should be denied.
Look at the surname of the founder and CEO of Cerberus. Is it just a coincidence that it is of the same bloodline that has greatly contributed to sponsoring the anti-Constitution legislation and policies that are rapidly unfolding? What about pushing for the wars? What about the members of Obama’s cabinet (and Bush and Clinton’s)? Who owns and controls the media? Is it just a coincidence they only comprise 2% of the population, but they are in positions of such power and influence?
This article dumb. The firearms industry is the best scammers out there. The lobby is incredibly powerful and make tremendous campaign contributions every year to politicians. It is in there interest to continue to scare people that guns will get banned because when people are scared that it will happen they go and buy a bunch of guns. We are the biggest buyer and seller of weapons in the world that will not be changing any time soon. Relax. There is money in the industry and if there is money in it there will always be someone who will provide the good or service.
