It seemed to be quiet at the bankersfront, but with a triple murder in Belgium this is over. Although for some reason even the alternative media won’t touch this subject. The 28th banker who dies under strange and suspicious circumstances, is the 37-year-old Benoit Philippens from Wezet (Visé) in the province of Liège.
Friday evening around 10.30 pm Benoît Philippens, his 37-year-old wife Carole Haid and the nine year old boy Esteban went inside the house where several shots were fired at them.
A total of six or seven in which the child and the man had died instantly. The woman then died Saturday morning from her injuries.
What makes the tragedy even sadder is that the child who was shot apparently was not a son of the couple, but the wife, Carole, was godmother of the little boy.
Benoît Philippens was, according to the Belgian press director of BNP Paribas Fortis in the village Ans, one of the two largest branches in the province of Liège. His wife Carole’d had been here employed.
Why these individuals have been killed and whether there were one or more shooters, is not yet clear.
The police have very few leads. The only thing that seems to be known that the shooter (s) were waiting for the couple in their car near a sports center not far away.
The motive of the murder is not clear yet. There is no immediately apparent cause, but, as already widespread known, a lot of things in the financial world take place behind closed doors.
This is the 28th banker in the first three and a half months of this year who haven’t died a natural death.
